Potions would be cool. I would think them as items you could use on the adventure map. Example:

Potion of mana- restores hero's mana completely (or some)

Potion of speed- increases hero's movement points for a day/a week

Potion of dexterity- increases hero's initiative for the next battle

In large numbers they are pretty much invincible. They can sustain themselves very well by their resurrection ability.

Lava Dragons and Magma Dragons are one of the worst unit names I've ever heard in so many games I play. Dragons made of lava or magma? Why dont they just stick to the cliche fire dragon or red dragon?

Sure we do, but we get no artifacts from the enemy hero and less exp.

You have to defeat the enemy hero thoroughly to get the goodies they've picked up around the map.
