Sorry for the Post Bump, but Civilization is the best Strategy-wise, with Age of Mythology being my absolute favorite in terms of graphics, display, story and epicness. the music is unbeatable.

I remember Civ III, it showed just how long a Whole Civ game gets, by only letting you "play a Single game", no Campaigns, nuthin... well not until the expansions any ways...

I think the AI is one that can bring challenge since 3rd... and the difference is how units have an "initiative"... explained from above...

I remember the AI I hate most is in Heroes 2... that so called Opportunist Chicken "AI" drove me mad...

WC... The main reason is arguably the Priceless unit quotes... I remember the first time I discovered them... They turned my day from horrible common weekdays to ones that made my week! The second reason is because the setting, since Futuristic Space Alien Wars don't really suit me... But don't get ...

But I (kinda) believe Forge would have been a better town... not story-fitting-wise, but just a better town, considering the obviously unfair Conflux which has 4 LVL 4s...
