I think you're talking about robot Santa. He's got his moral system messed up, so he judges everyone as naughty. Leela tries to overload his CPU by giving him the paradox that he himself is naughty. His head does explode, but is immediately replaced by a new one, since he's got an "anti-paradox system" (or something) installed.

Futurama was so awesome, it had to be canceled. It's far more funny and mature compared to the Simpsons. Those two episodes were great, with touching musical moments. My favorite episode however was the one with the horny amazonian women.

Snoosnoo! :D

I'm watching the last season of Galactica now. There's nothing quite like watching a grinning Starbuck taking a leak. :D

Futurama is one of my all time favourite shows. I've seen the whole thing several times now. The movies -- except for Bender's Game which was solid -- are rather forgettable, but still better to have a sub-par episode of Futurama than most other things on TV.

Just finished watching Battlestar Galactica, and it's been some time since I've had that special, nostalgic "too bad it's over" feeling. I mean, I am the unofficial world champion of watching television, and I think I've only had that feeling a few times, for shows like Babylon 5 and Firefly - possibly Futurama. Normally it requires that special "bond" between the characters and actors, but also something else, something you can't really put your finger on. It's really rare - I didn't even feel that way about The West Wing ...

They're currently ready to air the last season of Lost over here - but I don't watch it so I don't care. If somebody could sum up the entire thing for me in 200 words or less, I'd read it. ;)

There you are, Kalah: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GdT8eqMO4qk

Personally, I think Lost is the best show on TV, and might become my top favourite of all time, depending on how they wrap it up, so I'd say you're missing a lot. There are sci-fi elements in there, as well as lots of drama, and if I'm not mistaken, you enjoy both of those?

Yanyhoo, as for new shows, anyone seen V? (Short for Visitors) I enjoyed it a lot, and am looking forward to the fifth episode that's coming next week after a long break.

How about Flashforward? I've just seen the first episode, and while a lot of it was confusing, it looked promising, especially the ending.

Also, it can't hurt that both of these shows feature at least one former Lost cast member. :)

Excellent commentary, I gotta say. :D

Now if I can just get one of those describing the rest of the series as well.

Yes, I like sci-fi, but I don't like sci-fi that pretends to belong in the real world. I want space ships and that kind of stuff, not a trumped-up rerun of The X files.

Btw. 24 is over; there will be no season 9, for those who are interested. I watched the first season and haven't been into it since - but I started watching when Katee showed up, of course.

Just watching a Top Gear episode - the one where they go to Romania.

So, anyone catch the last episode of Lost?!

I got to say, at least the series has been consistent about not answering much when it comes to what's with the island...

Hahaha!

I was disappointed by the finale at first because it completely ignored the mythological aspects of the show, but am beginning to appreciate it more, especially after realizing what the flash-sideways of season 6 actually represent.

And now no Lost anymore. I'm sad. It's the end of an era. :S
