Is the Stronghold good late game?


Why so much hate for the Inferno town? I found their gating ability to be very effective in fights.

Haven't played homm5 in a while and encountered an issue where the map editor wouldn't save my team selections.

Found out the fix was to install the 3.1 patch and all was well again even on my Win7 x64 machine.

Just wanted to log this to save anyone else the trouble.

Did anyone ever figure out what the templates mean?

S = Size?
P = Players?
K = ?

My reason is often i have a beer or child in one hand or am playing hot seat and not sitting close to the keyboard. Its annoying to have to ask someone else to hold down shift.

A key to do this would be nice.

My 2 Cents is: Any expansion is great. I love anything that adds content to this great game and there arent enough towns anyway. I mean didnt HOMM3 ship with 8 towns off the bat, then an expansion? What I'd like to see the most is a Barbarian Town . One that is Conan-esque and like the town from H3.
