A copy of the Might and Magic newsletter, The Chronicles of Ashan, was found on the Web (thanks to ThE HyDrA) and it is a good read. In addition to Fabrice's article (Way of the Patch) which I reprinted here yesterday, it includes some additional information about The Demon Sovereign, the Prophecy of Sar-Shazzar, and the Dark Messiah, details about the upcoming Coliseum mode for Dark Messiah (shown on the right), an explanation of why the Dwarves didn't show up sooner in the storyline and, last but not least, a short announcement of an official map contest. The contest appears to be open to all, with three awards and no theme or size restriction, and there's even a way to have five minutes worth of Internet connection costs reimbursed when you submit the map. The deadline is on January 31st, so read the rules and start working on your entry today.
