Just finished the Heroes 3 Adventure Objects page! Angelspit and I have been working on this page for a while, we would have gotten it out sooner, too, but some technical issues arose, so it took a little longer than expected. Adventure Objects
 
Resource Generators - provides resources, items, and other things for free.
 

Mines

Provide resources for owner player when flagged:
Sawmill - provides 2 units of wood per day
Gold Mine - provides 1,000 gold per day
Ore Pit - provides 2 units of ore per day
Sulfur Dune - provides 1 unit of sulfur per day
Alchemist's Lab - provides 1 unit of mercury per day
Gem Pond - provides 1 unit of gems per day
Crystal Cavern - provides 1 unit of crystal per day
Abandoned Mine - visitor must battle a throng of troglodytes; if the visitor is successful, the mine turns into a randomly chosen mine (unless restricted by the mapmaker) and functions as a normal mine.
 

Treasures

Provides a one-time amount of resources. If Gold is picked up, 500-1,000 gold is given. Wood and Ore yield 5-10 units. Any other resource picked up will yield 3-6 units. Campfires provide 400-600 gold and 4-6 units of a random resource. Treasure Chests offer two options: Take the gold in the chest for profit, or donate it to the local peasantry for experience. (Experience = gold amount -500)
 

Prison

Provides the visitor with a hero for free. The hero is chosen randomly when the Prison is placed onto a map in the map editor, not at the start of the scenario, so repeating the scenario will not change the selected hero.
 

Windmill

Gives visitor 3-6 of a random resource other than Wood or Gold once per week.
 

Waterwheel

Gives visiting hero 500 gold during Week 1, but 1,000 gold during each subsequent week. Can be used once per week.
 

Mystical Garden

50% chance of giving visitor 500 gold; 50% chance of giving visitor 5 gems. Can be used once per week.
 

Warrior's Tomb

Provides a random artifact (30% Treasure, 50% Minor , 15% Major, 5% Relic) and a -3 Morale penalty to the first hero who explores it. All visitors, however, receive the morale penalty if they explore it, after the artifact has been taken.
 

Scholar

Teaches the hero who finds him a spell, a secondary skill, or grants a permanent bonus to one of the hero's primary skills. Then the scholar disappears.
 

Lean-To

Gives visitor 1-4 of a random resource other than gold. One use only.
 

Refugee Camp

Allows visitor to recruit a random creature once per week at base growth.
 

Corpse

Provides a random artifact (20%), or nothing (80%).
 

Wagon

Provides 2-5 of a random resource (50%), a random treasure or minor artifact (40%), or nothing (10%).
 
Guarded Structures - provides treasure and other rewards after the battle is won
 

Dragon Utopia

30% chance of visitor fighting 8 Green Dragons, 5 Red Dragons, 2 Gold Dragons, and 1 Black Dragon for 20,000 gold and 1 Treasure Artifact, 1 Minor Artifact, 1 Major Artifact, and 1 Relic Artifact.
30% chance of visitor fighting 8 Green Dragons, 6 Red Dragons, 3 Gold Dragons, and 2 Black Dragons for 30,000 gold and 1 Minor Artifact, 1 Major Artifact, and 2 Relic Artifacts.
30% chance of visitor fighting 8 Green Dragons, 6 Red Dragons, 4 Gold Dragons, and 3 Black Dragons for 40,000 gold and 1 Major Artifact, and 3 Relic Artifacts.
10% chance of visitor fighting 8 Green Dragons, 7 Red Dragons, 6 Gold Dragons, and 5 Black Dragons for 50,000 gold and 4 Relic Artifacts.
 

Dragon Fly Hive

Fight 30 Dragonflies for 4 Wyverns (30%),
45 Dragonflies for 6 Wyverns (30%),
60 Dragonflies for 8 Wyverns (30%),
or 90 Dragonflies for 12 Wyverns (10%).
 

Crypt

30% chance to fight 30 Skeletons and 20 Zombies for 1000 gold.
30% chance to fight 25 Skeletons, 20 Zombies, and 5 Wights for 2000 gold.
30% chance to fight 20 Skeletons, 20 Zombies, 10 Wights, and 5 Vampires for 2500 gold and 1 Treasure Artifact.
10% chance to fight 20 Skeletons, 20 Zombies, 10 Wights, and 10 Vampires for 5000 gold and 1 Treasure Artifact.
-1 Morale if you visit the crypt and the guardians have already been defeated.
 

Griffin Conservatory

30% Fight 40 Griffins to receive 2 Angel into your army's ranks.
30% Fight 60 Griffins to receive 3 Angel into your army's ranks.
30% Fight 80 Griffins to receive 4 Angel into your army's ranks.
10% Fight 100 Griffins to receive 5 Angel into your army's ranks.
 

Medusa Stores

30% Fight 20 Medusa for 2,000 gold and 5 Sulfur.
30% Fight 30 Medusa for 3,000 gold and 6 Sulfur.
30% Fight 40 Medusa for 4,000 gold and 8 Sulfur.
10% Fight 50 Medusa for 5,000 gold and 10 Sulfur.
 

Dwarven Treasury

Fight 50 Dwarves for 2,500 Gold and 2 Crystal (30%),
75 Dwarves for 4,000 Gold and 3 Crystal (30%),
100 Dwarves for 5,000 Gold and 5 Crystal (30%),
or 150 Dwarves for 7,500 Gold and 10 Crystal (10%).
 

Cyclops Stockpile

Fight 20 Cyclops for 4 of each resource (30%),
30 Cyclops for 6 of each resource (30%),
40 Cyclops for 8 of each resource (30%),
or 50 Cyclops for 10 of each resource (10%).
 

Imp Cache

Fight 100 Imps for 1,000 Gold and 2 Mercury (30%),
150 Imps for 1,500 Gold and 3 Mercury (30%),
200 Imps for 2,000 Gold and 4 Mercury (30%),
or 300 Imps for 5,000 Gold and 6 Mercury (10%).
 

Naga Bank

Fight 10 Nagas for 4,000 Gold and 8 Sulfur (30%), 15 Nagas for 6,000 Gold and 12 Sulfur (30%), 20 Nagas for 8,000 Gold and 16 Sulfur (30%), or 30 Nagas for 12,000 Gold and 24 Sulfur (10%).
 

Pyramid

Fight 40 Gold Golems and 20 Diamond Golems for a random 5th level spell (which will be lost if the hero doesn't have enough wisdom to learn it). Subsequent visits to the Pyramid grant a -2 Luck penalty to the visitor.
 
Hero Buffs - grants a temporary or permanent bonus to the hero's stats.
 

Magic Shrines

Teaches random spells. If the hero cannot learn the spell for inadequate Wisdom or no Spell Book, the hero can return at any time to learn it.
(Bronze) Shrine of Incantation - teaches a random level 1 spell.
(Silver) Shrine of Magic Gesture - teaches a random level 2 spell.
(Gold) Shrine of Magic Thought - teaches a random level 3 spell.
 

University

Teaches the visiting hero a new secondary skill for 2,000 gold.
 

Library of Enlightenment

Increases all primary skills by 2 if the hero is deemed worthy enough. Requirement for worthiness is to be Level 10, -2 levels per level of Diplomacy skill. Only one time per hero.
 

Water Hole

Grants a +1 Morale bonus for the next battle and +4 Movement until the end of the turn.
 

School of War

Increases visiting hero's Attack or Defense by 1 for 1,000 Gold. Once per hero.
 

Lighthouse

Allows your ships to move farther(+5 Sea mobility) for each Lighthouse under your control.
 

Arena

Increases visiting hero's Attack or Defense by 2. Once per hero.
 

Fountain of Youth

Grants visitor +1 Morale until next battle, and +4 Adventure movement until the end of the day.
 

Mercenary Camp

Increases visiting hero's Attack by 1. Once per hero.
 

Marletto Tower

Increases visiting hero's Defense by 1. Once per hero.
 

Lake of the Scarlet Swan

Grants +2 Luck for the next battle, but ends movement for the turn.
 

Oasis

Grants +1 Morale for the next battle and +8 Movement for the rest of the turn.
 

Temple

Grants a +2 Morale bonus on day 7; +1 bonus for any other day.
 

Stables

Grants +6 movement every day until the end of the week, and upgrades all Cavaliers in visiting army to Champions.
 

Tree of Knowledge

Grants hero a level for free (34%), for 2,000 Gold (33%), or for 10 Gems (33%). Once per hero.
 

Magic Spring

Replenishes all hero spell points, and then doubles the current spell points past the maximum amount. This can only be used once per week.
 

Rally Flag

Grants +1 Luck and +1 Morale for the next battle and +4 Movement for the rest of the turn.
 

Faerie Ring

Grants +1 Luck for the next battle.
 

School of Magic

Increases visiting hero's Knowledge or Power by 1 for 1,000 Gold. Once per hero.
 

Witch Hut

Grants the visiting hero a random secondary skill besides Necromancy or Leadership (unless specified by the mapmaker). However, the skill chosen by the Witch Hut is taught to every hero that visits; the skill is not generated anew every time a hero visits. Witch Hut's are only customizable in the Armageddon's Blade of Shadow of Death expansions.
 

Fountain of Fortune

Grants a -1 or +3 Luck bonus for the next battle.
 

Star Axis

Increases visiting hero's Power by 1. Once per hero.
 

Learning Stone

Increases visiting hero's Experience by 1,000. Once per hero.
 

Garden of Revelation

Increases visiting hero's Knowledge by 1. Once per hero.
 

Magic Well

Replenishes all of visiting hero's lost spell points.
 

Idol of Fortune

Grants a bonus until next battle: +1 Luck on odd days, +1 Morale on even days, or +1 Luck and +1 Morale on Day 7.
 
 
Miscellaneous - completely varied effects
 

Keymaster Tents

Allows passage through the respective color of Border Guard or Border Gate.
 

Obelisk

Reveals a portion of the puzzle map used for finding the Grail.
 

Freelancer's Guild

This place allows heroes to exchange creatures for resources. Freelancer's Guilds can only be placed using an expansion map editor.
 

Monolith One Way Exits

The exit point for a matching Monolith One Way Entrance.
 

Seer's Huts

Provides a quest for the visitor to complete, with a reward upon completion and revisiting of the hut.
 

Border Gate

Blocks hero passage until the hero visits the Keymaster's Tent of the same color and returns. Even if one hero receives the password, other heroes of the same color can still pass through it. Border Gates remain on the adventure map permanently.
 

Anti-Magic Garrison

Stores troops at choke points. If the troops are neutrals or belong to an opponent, you must fight them to pass. The Garrison then belongs to you. Some Garrisons do not allow withdrawal of creatures.
 

Tavern

Allows visitor to recruit heroes of any faction and listen to rumors.
 

Black Market

Visitors may purchase artifacts here. Payment can be with any resource.
 

Sanctuary

Any hero who stays here is immune to enemy assaults.
 

Border Guard

Blocks hero passage until the hero visits the Keymaster's Tent of the same color and returns. Even if one hero receives the password, other heroes of the same color can still open it. Border Guards disappear from the map when opened.
 

Monolith Two Ways

Teleports the hero to another Two Way Monolith.
 

Hill Fort

Allows visitor to upgrade base creatures in his/her army to their upgraded forms. Level 1 creatures can be upgraded for no charge.
 

Monolith One Way Entrances

Entrance point for a One Way Monolith Exit.
 

Subterranean Gate

Takes the visiting hero from the surface to the subterranean level of a map, and vice versa.
 

Hut of the Magi

Unveils the areas surrounding any Eyes of the Magi on the adventure map.
 

Surface Cartographer

For 1,000 gold, clears the fog of war over all terrain, except Subterranean terrain, on the map, both on the surface and in the underground
 

Shipyard

Allows the purchasing of ships. Ships cost 1,000 gold and 10 wood.
 

Underground Cartographer

For 1,000 gold, clears the fog of war over all of the Subterranean terrain on the map, both on the surface and in the underground.
 

War Machine Factory

Sells all three types of war machines for use in the visiting hero's army:
Ballista - 2,500 gold -deals damage to enemy units; the 'Artillery' skill improves its ability
Healing Tent - 750 gold - heals friendly units; the 'Healing' skill improves its ability
Ammo Cart - 1,000 gold - provides infinite ammo(shots) for friendly ranged units
 

Cover of Darkness

Regenerates the shroud for enemy heroes over a 20 tile radius around the Cover of Darkness.
 

Trading Post

Trades resources as if the player owned five marketplaces.
 

Eye of the Magi

Removes the shroud in a 10 square radius when a hero visits a Hut of the Magi.
 

Den of Thieves

Provides information about enemy players' heroes, creatures, towns, mines, and resources, equivalent t a full Thieves' Guild.
 

Altar of Sacrifice

Castle, Rampart, and Tower heroes may sacrifice artifacts for experience. Inferno, Necropolis, and Dungeon heroes may sacrifice creatures for experience. Stronghold, Conflux, and Fortress heroes may sacrifice artifacts or creatures for experience.
 

Pillar of Fire

Removes the shroud over a 20 tile radius around the Pillar.
 

Redwood Observatory

Removes the shroud over a 20 tile radius aound the Redwood Observatory.
 

Quest Guard

Blocks passage until the hero completes a quest and returns.
 

Sign

Displays a custom message to all visitors written by the mapmaker. A blank sign will still yield a predetermined message in the game.
 
Sea Locations - locations accessible in the open sea
 

Shipwreck/Derelict Ship

Shipwreck: Fight 10 Wights for 2,000 Gold (30%), 15 Wights for 3,000 Gold (30%), 25 Wights for 4,000 Gold and one random Treasure Artifact (30%), 50 Wights for 5,000 Gold and one random Minor Artifact (10%). Subsequent visits to the Shipwreck grant a -1 Morale penalty.
Derelict Ship: 30% chance of visitor fighting 20 Water Elementals for 3,000 gold, 30% chance of visitor fighting 30 Water Elementals for 3,000 gold and 1 Treasure Artifact, 30% chance of visitor fighting 40 Water Elementals for 4,000 gold and 1 Treasure Artifact, and 10% chance of visitor fighting 60 Water Elementals for 6,000 gold and 1 Minor Artifact.
 

Flotsam

Gives 5 Wood (25%), 5 Wood and 200 Gold (25%), 10 Wood and 500 Gold (25%) or nothing (25%) to the visitor.
 

Sirens

Removes 30% of each creature stack and grants visiting hero one experience point for each health point of the lost creatures.
 

Whirpool

Takes the hero to another whirlpool location and removes 50% of the weakest creature stack.
 

Sea Cartographer

For 1,000 gold, removes the shroud over all oceans on the map.
 

Mermaids

Provides a +1 Luck bonus for the next battle.
 

Buoy

Provides a +1 Morale bonus for the next battle.
 

Shipwreck Survivor

Grants visitor a random artifact.(br> 55% Treasure Artifact
20% Minor Artifact
20% Major Artifact
5% Relic Artifact
 

Sea Chest

Provides 1,500 Gold (70%), 1,500 Gold and one random Treasure Artifact (10% -- or 1,500 Gold if the hero backpack is full), or nothing (20%) for the visiting hero.
 

Ocean Bottle

Displays a custom message written by the mapmaker. If left unedited by the mapmaker, it will read "No Trespassing". Note that Ocean Bottles disappear after use.
