This was a tough one. It's not too often that you fight 7 stacks of 19 - 20
gold dragons and live to tell about it...
There was a Throng of Gold dragons on the map, (134 to be exact) and my army was not too big. I didn't have any fifth level spells spells, and gold dragons are immune to all spells except fifth level. My level six and seven creatures were slim as the above picture shows.
In round 1, my Gold Dragons hit 2 stacks of theirs, and their gold dragons wiped out both stacks of my Grand Elves and most of my Pegasi. My Dwarves lasted through the first round with the help of stone skin, and I had them defend
until they were lost. My Healing Tent was also destroyed in the first round.
My Dendroids and Unicorns won this battle, for the Dendroids bound three stacks of gold dragons, preventing them from moving. The Gold Dragons were positioned in a way so they couldnt attack my Dendroids without hurting each other with their breath attack, so by defending and casting Resurrect, I was able to keep the Dendroids alive. My gold dragons finally got overwhelmed while I gave my Unicorns Stone Skin and Bless, and I cast Ressurect whenever their numbers fell too low. Unfortunately my unicorns never used their Blind ability, but my 150 MP kept me in the fight until end. Being able to use Ressurect a large number of times kept my Dentroids and Unicorns alive. I ended the battle with 16 Dendroids and 11 Unicorns.
