Frogs legs arent slimey at all when properly prepared. If someone took the meat of the bone and gave it to you youd think its a very tasty chicken(I like teasing my friends like that."So,you think its great? And do you know what it was?A snake!").Snails too. They are chewy, but not slimey.Orfinn wrote:And I wouldnt eat frog legs or snails no mather what other say, I just cant stand the thought..slimey..
36k sexes, huh?I wonder what they are called.
I just remembered one x-files episode about a giant fungus droging people and then slowly digesting them.Imagine that

As any food who's main atraction is that it might kill you probably is.Kareeah Indaga wrote: I did try sushi once, but it was rather bland.
Trout, now there's a fish that tastes good. Even better if you're the one that caught it. Damn industrial chemicals and people that make them end up in rivers.

I like sushi a lot, and the whole "it's dangerous" thing is such a myth. You can get sick eating anything that isn't prepared well. Just go to a reputable place that buys fresh fish (which you should do whether you like your fish fried or raw) and you will be fine.

Yep, but that's not what sushi is famous for. Hamburgers can be made with chicken, but that's not what you think of when someone says hamburger.Ethric wrote:If you just order sushi at a restaurant I'm pretty sure you'll get a benign species of fish.

So any raw fish = sushi? Methinks you need to expand your knowledge of cuisine.Gaidal Cain wrote: Well, around here, sushi is thought of as "raw fish". Not "possibly lethal fish".
Whenever sushi is mentioned on them cooking shows they usualy go for the "possibly lethal fish" kind....
Oh, and sushi isn't even fish:
In Japan the word sushi refers to the rice, not the fish. Sushi toppings or fillings can include seafood, meat, vegetables, mushrooms or egg, Sushi toppings may be raw, cooked, or marinated. In the Western world, sushi is often misunderstood to mean clumps of rice topped with raw fish, or even simply raw seafood, which is properly called sashimi.
