Funny no one has mentioned the fight against Isabel in the last campaign map four.. Considering the laughable last scenario, Isabel is the 'big boss' of the game, and she sure was big in my game...
I was going for Arcane Omniscience and as I always do in the campaigns, I visited every stat booster I found with Zehir -big mistake, since I had no idea that Isabel was very busy training her troops and I had no idea that all those extra stats weren't going to help in the last map.. Needless to say, Isabel was a beast (thanks to me

); she had very high stats coupled with luck, morale, attack, defence and light magic, all expert level with the best perks possible. If I only knew I'd face her later on...
Anyway, when I found her in the third or fourth month, she had 74 archangels, 1300+ squires, 700+ marksmen, 250+royal griffins 100+ inquisitors, and last but certainly not the least, 570+ paladins

!! This army, with 5 morale, 5 luck, mass haste, endurance and divine strength against Zehir's pitiful forces of 130+ archliches, 350 vampire lords, 45 spectral dragons, 65 paladins, 63 archangels, 400 marksmen and 200 squires.. No phantom image, phoenixes (with unbelievable stats, someting like 85+ attack & defence, 500-750 damage and 1800 life) or elementals (which came by 93s every casting thanks to Zehir's 39 spell power!) availed me, I got my ass handed back to me all the time. I tried Raelag and soon found out that Empowered Implosions that have 2500+ damage aren't worth anything in gigantic battles, not even a lucky implosion that dealt around 5200 damage to paladins mattered, they were resurrected by the angels next turn.. Next was Shadya, I counted on Expert Dark Magic and Puppet Master/Frenzy on paladins, but the son of a gun AI always put Isabel right after me (when I waited she did as well!) allowing her to immediately cast Cleansing right away.. My ass and my hand bonded a very strong relationship

Luckily Findan was there as well, and I witnessed why luck is the best skill-tree in the game. I employed the same strategy, sacrificing troops to block paladins and squires while I concentrated on Archangels and Paladins from afar, all was going relatively well until my catapult decided to hit the same spot twice and open a path for the paladins.. Gulp

... On second try the same crap happened, but thankfully luck came through for me, and I first massacred her battle-diving griffins and then I made a dent on the paladins and angels with consecutive lucky hits... I eventually won with the help (more like sacrifice actually

) of phoenixes and elementals but from that army only marksmen and some liches remained..
And then they let her live... Damn, kill her I say, let her rot
