You don't need any knowledge to join it, we have plenty of players who just like sharing their experiences and discussing the games. It's not just modmakers, as CH threads tend to show.

No, there's no such thing as energy magic. All energy attacks are blockable by Armor Class. Only actual spells (e.g. Flying Fist) are unblockable, with the exception of a few blockable spells.

Lolz - I mean "What a Vacuum Cleaner" does, primarily, being the opposite of blows.
I know you're right, now! I've been reading a lot of your posts re: Resistance, and also Armor Effect. Still Learning here.
eg. 100% Res. only blocks max 60% (if you're lucky) and I'm now also using the plus 40 AC at Kriegspire along with Stoneskin. Needless to say my Team is a whole lot tougher, now, @ AC 200+ late game but still getting the bejeezers knocked out of me. Those Dragon Riders caves are BRUTAL.
I like how you operate, which is ( imho ) in a just and fair manner. If this was a Fallout or Elder Scrolls game then the authors of the unofficial patch would have simply removed the +50 bonus completely, on the grounds that it was an unintended oversight by the developer - which is why I compile my own Patches for those two franchises.
btw - thanks for the reply and confirmation, also for setting me straight on mm6 Energy Magic. I guess looking things up in Monsters.txt isn't as cut and dried as it at first appears. One thing I've discovered, though, is that you can beat nigh on everything to death with high enough Spirit Magic, Accuracy, and plain ol' Melee. Ugh.. Oozes, I hate that Flying Fist doesn't work on those slime balls, unlike Fears, Terrors, and Nightmares.

No, if you're super lucky you block 93.75%. 60% is average at 100. AC is immensely important.
In this case it would be too hard to call inintended, because it was very clearly intended (they even set the "drank" flag, but forgot to check it). Not sure if already mentioned (most likely yes), but in MM8 remote healing is said to start working at Expert, but in fact works at Normal. Not sure if it's also a bug in MM7, but I recall that one of the games worked differently in this regard than others did. Also this may have been fixed already and I just have crappy memory haha
