Well, I expected the models to come out much worse. Although I'm not really happy with the Beholder I think they are doing their job quite well. Anybody have a guess for their racial ability? You can see the gauge in the Manticore screen (along the very upper body of the Assassin).

At least it looks less crowded then others town screens, where one building cover other.

Two or one? There's not enough dragon races to make it majestic. Perhaps it wil be a dragon with lower guards. Perhaps not and it will be just shadows of former other dragons.

I for one like how this faction has turned out. Sure, it's a bit too purple (quite a bit too purple), but otherwise the artwork and the unit disposition look good in my opinion. It's gone far astray from the patriachic, swamp-dwelling Warlock faction a lot of us grew up with in Heroes 2. They moved underground, turned dark elf. But I don't mind. They still got the Blackies

. And they are still the dark, badass, powerful magicians they've always been.

Or at least so I hope. Please, let them become the faction for highpowered spells, that's what they do best!
