I hope it will be more detailed and much more interesting than the original one.
Now it is only 45k polygons.

1) i have removed my imageshack accout
2) i do not want to restore any my information on other resource
3) project is frozen so i do not see any reason to continue to work under temple
4) mine is too detailed! need to remade it in low poly + normal map

Because we do not get any help, obviously.
I personally was contributing more than a year on this project (working for 3 or more hours a day, 5 days a week).
The only guys who were actually helping on code are x1diablo, who contributed about as much time as i did (many great thanks to you, without you i'd have quitted long before), and Gloval.
But this is still too few to finish such large enterprise.
For me, no help/support is equal to no interest. And when there is no interest, why should I spend about quarter of my everyday life on it.
So it goes.

So.. it's been around two years since I made first attempts on this project.
For few month from now I continue the work.
Searching for people with experience in IDA.

Greetings, Nomad. First of all, I'm really glad that you still interested in this project and trying to move it forward no matter what.
Can you please share more detail about current conception and state of the project. Much time passed and at least for me it is no clear what the project actually is nowadays.
Is this continuation of old reverse engineering project, recreation using some 3dparty engine from scratch, or something different?
Is the project still opensource and there are some public repository for anyone interested or the project completely goes to private?

Heya
>an you please share more detail about current conception and state of the project. Much time passed and at least for me it is no clear what the project actually is nowadays.
Since I realized how many people would be required to make a quality upgrade for this game, my goals are much more modest now:
1. Make reversed MM7 engine work, describe and document it as it is.
2. Provide quality modding API.
3. Adapt mm6 and mm8 resources to the engine, and make a "might and magic trilogy" like World of Xeen was made from two separate games.
>Is this continuation of old reverse engineering project, recreation using some 3dparty engine from scratch, or something different?
It is based on the old reverse, worked out in the IDA so code quality increaed and decompilation bugs decreased significantly, no unknown struct/classes left. But without any major midifications to the original engine.
>Is the project still opensource and there are some public repository for anyone interested or the project completely goes to private?
It is completely open, from fans for fans.
Atm project is versioned under Mercurial: https://www.assembla.com/code/might-and ... rial/nodes
Cheers
