hehehe yeah, good point

But no matter if how bad some names may turn out to be, we can look back and see that NO heroes game had all creature names fitting perfectly as they should have been. ;)

Minotaur Slave / Guard was good. Don't know why they had to change the name.

As said the names are not yet final and yes Minotaur Slave--->Minotaur Guard was a fitting choice.

Minotaur--->Minotaur Guard would work even better. I don't really see the need for the Slave part. I mean the upgraded ones aren't free, are they.

Of course ArchDevils were present in Heroes III, and they were trying to go for the 'duality,' so yes they are just there to be opposite of archangel and yes it sounds ridiculous. Devil Sovereign sounds a bit forced, but it's still better.

Oh, and what's with all the Minotaur Slavery? It is horrible. Minotaurs are big and strong. They should be able to destroy those pansy elves anytime. I always liked how the Minotaurs were the rulers of the H3 Dungeon (and sort of the h4 asylum), where they were a high level unit, and there were plenty of minotaur heroes, and they were all kings. (And Having lots of kings is NOT in fact as silly as people think it is. In bygone days even small pieces of land were ruled by so-called Kings, and when several of these swore fealty to a greater King they would actually go and fight personally. The King of Scotland, the King of Ireland, the King of Cumberalnd, and people of that sort would all ride personally in the army of a great king of Britain, for instance. With the whole nationalism thing that began to occur king became a title reserved solely for the ruler of a country, but before that there were plenty of little kings running around). In any case, the minotaurs should be freed! They are a little bullheaded, but they are still intelligent enough to not be slaves. They used to be the sort of 'elite' units that would attack in small groups to make surprise raids ("The presence of minotaurs suggests a raiding party," as Catherine said) thus they had to be smart enough to carry out operations on their own. In any case, the whole slavery of the minotaurs is bothering me. It is despicable. I hope in the next installment minotuars will either leave and be neutral or throw off their chains and put their pickaxes to better work than mining. Why are such big and strong creatures slaves? It doesn't make any sense.
Happy Millenium!

You're right. Only small and weak units are ever used as slaves, and the strong ones are killed on birth. Or not. :D

:embarrased: Never mind. Err... The clouds are nice.

The strong ones can not be killed on birth, because even at the moment of birth minotaurs are strong enough to rip apart their enemies as if they were tissue paper. Even a newborn minotaur could destroy an army of special troops.

Its lame that the minos are slaves like the wookie slavery from SW where the stronger less intelligent species are used as slaves.

This comes as a valid point when you have like a dozen kings for one faction. But hudreds or even thousands? There never were those many kings on the whole earth, let alone in just one country.

A thousand Minotaur Warriors or Guards on the other hand would be much better, but does Ubi/Nival care? Who knows ;|

Wait, never mind. Dungeon lizards...
