Major bump, but I have been using the Macbook Pro at work for half a year now, and have gained some insight.

- It's much faster than a corresponding PC laptop.
- It doesn't crash as often (but it has happened).
- It doesn't get as hot as a PC laptop.
- It is more difficult to customize than a PC.

Generally, I prefer the PC for the ability to do everything the way I want to do it, and the Mac for its usefulness as a tool once I learn how to use it.
