PC. Software, software, software. Not to mention I don't have much choice. I rely on PCs for work. Macs don't run scientific instruments.

Oh! You're underage....the first member to admit to it! :oex:
Sorry, couldn't help myself. Enjoy your teen years while you still can. ;)

As for the topic, Macs (at least in the past) have been stronger (and more cutting edge) than PC's, in terms of hardware and specs.

Of course, it's like Corribus says...software, software, software! The PC has more than the Mac...period.

@Corribus: That's not right. How else would you do your experiments? :)

nothing Chai, I think he's just referring to the fact that there aren't many younger people on these forums .... winter's 19 and he was pretty much the youngest regular poster in the campfire

I'm sticking with my PC because I don't want to have to pay $1200 to use something I have no useful programs for.

There's no problem with being underage. We were all underage once (except TT...he's the spawn of a dark place...)

Hmm...good question. I'm not sure, but AFAICR, I don't think so.
You could emulate the Windows OS on the Mac...but I don't think that's what you mean. :)
