Yep, it fuzzed me how was done. Even opened a thread about and got some interesting answers, but weeks ago.

http://wforum.heroes35.net/showthread.p ... 3#pid48313
Eh,I had seen this topic, but it is not detailed.

First,a hero can reach 6424 level in SOD,this article can explain this result:
http://www.gamerhome.net/bbs/viewthread.php?tid=331215

then, how can we make a hero who reach higher level than 88 level?
You can give him some events that send much experiences to him,but you must calculate how much he need, also the hero must can be moved.
If you want give somebody mass experiences but he can't be moved, you can read this article, use some tips to complete it.
http://www.gamerhome.net/bbs/viewthread.php?tid=326868

However, the articles are written in Chinese,if you don't understand them by Google, maybe I can try to explain it for you
:)

Yes, I can see the pics here without problem :).

I've visited gamerhome forum with google translator and it's very nice with many interesting posts. Some not visible because of low health. Is it possible to gain health by posting? Have we to write in chinese then or english is ok?

Hello guys, I discovered this site few days ago and this awesome map. I'm enjoying it so far and this walkthrough is helpful. I'm not a very good player and I'm learning a lot here. Thanks for your work.

But I have a huge problem, I'm at the page 8 of the topic and it seems Gabriel can't learn earth mastery. I managed to fight the 300 dwarf loosing only two gargoyles and as his last skill I have the choice between fire magic and sorcery . So am I screwed without earth mastery on Gabriel? I should restart the map over ? Or does some kind of cheat exist to modify his skills ?

I also a bit worried for the others heroes. I don't want to start other because the last hero can't learn a must-have skill. Is there a way to check at the beginning of the map if all heroes will be able to get all the needed skills ?

Thanks for future answer, and sorry if my english is not good it's not my native language.

yes, there exist some cheat tools which can change your skills,I upload one to this site:
http://www.speedyshare.com/files/28402579/H3edt.exe

however,it is made by a Chinese player,so you have to use it in Chinese.

About checking the beginning skills of a hero,my method is save one file, and type 'nwcneo' and see how his skills develop,if it is useful, then reload the file again.
By the way, press 'tab' key then you can type some words in the game, and 'nwcneo' is a cheater code which is just for h3 SOD version.

Ok, I downloaded your editor but i can't even manage to load my save. Does it work at all with the english version of homm? Do I need the chinese version, and if so will my saves still work with it ?

And for checking the skills of my heroes with the cheat code, I did it for the first hero but is there a way to check for the next ones before getting them ?

One last question : If I check the skill of one hero this way, and after that I use a witch hut, will I still be assured to get the planned skills ?

Thanks for your help
:D

About checking the skills:it seems that I have no easy way to check another hero by this method :(
I will type cheat code again for the first hero--'nwcthereisnospoon',this can give him all spells,so you can fly and release the hero in jail.
If the jail is guarded by some strong monster,so you have to type the 3rd cheat code--'nwctrinity',so your troops will add 5 archangels at your every rest slot :D

if you have checked your skills,it is not permited to visit the witch hut or some scholar,it can change the planned skills.

About the editor,it is not necessary to download one Chinese version homm, just load your save, and use the editor to change your hero skills or troops. If it doesn't work, try to rename your main executable file for 'Heroes32e.exe'.If it still doesn't work,I think you have to download a Chinese windows operation version :D

Thanks
I can't know how to upgrade Garbriel in one day and not waste his steps,so I just modify his skills with adding a basic earth magic.
Is that ok?

Hello. I am using these heroes' faces and I like most of them. But some of them doesn't fit at all in normal gameplay (like female hero but the name is male). Also with some faces I prefer older one (sanya and xeron for example..)

Is it possible to fix some faces back? Not all of course 'cause most of them are great :)

Unfortunately all images are down, like the wayfarer thread. Can this be fixed?

I don't have them and the source was external.

Albeit if someone saved them, it can be fixed. Just let me know.

benbird also posted this walkthrough at Gamerhome (http://gamerhome.com/bbs/forum.php?mod= ... rid=370472). It's a lot of work but someone could get all the images and see if they match the ones that were posted here. You need an account to view the forum, but not for images; there is the info to an account made by benbird somewhere here I believe.

Here are the first few images hosted at Gamerhome for "Way Home".

#####

Also for his other walkthrough, Wayfarer, the images still exist at Gamerhome, but the forums were updated some time ago and uploaded material is no longer stored at the same place, but similar.

Take for instance the first picture in that thread whose link is no longer working. (https://www.celestialheavens.com/forum/7/11546)
http://www.gamerhome.net/bbs/attachments/month_1012/10120616392e6a747b7e5cb046.jpg
Image

The new image has the same name and details but the storage area is different:
http://gamerhome.com/bbs/data/attachment/forum/month_1012/10120616392e6a747b7e5cb046.jpg
Image

So basically /bbs/attachments/ becomes /bbs/data/attachment/forum/

Restoring that walkthrough should be easy with a simple Find&Replace.

###

Hopefully this helps future readers :)
