A tutorial for homm3(the spoiler of a Chinese map-way home)

Some foreign H3 players say that it is very hardest to walkthrough a Chinese map.
So I try to teach you how to get it through :D

Chinese map edited by our players are often harder than official maps, therefore we call them BT map(BT is short for Chinese words"biantai" ,means is hardest than normal) .

ok,first we must have a Chinese map to play it.

We just translate a beautiful Chinese map named "way home" into English version.

So you can download it and follow me to play.

you have to new a perfect file to begin this game.

Rick need learn the skills of Ballistics,Wisdom,Earth Magic,Water Magic,Intelligence.

Because these Diamond Golems are unuseful after the combat, so fight it inattentively, a golem was dead :ill:

after killed them, Rick gained a level, choose Expert Logitics.

Thanks benbird for the marvelous help you provided. Hopefully more English speaking people will play more Chinese maps as I find them beautiful and just downright fun to play.
There are not enough Chinese maps IMO, but hopefully more will make it into the mainstream soon. Thank you!

:D Chinese map are translated into English is very difficult for me.

There are many Chinese bt maps in our site:

But few people can translate them because the diffrence between Chinese and English. :(

ok,let's continue. :)

Remember, put the neutral monsters in your first column of your army,they won't affect your logistics when you have no pathfinding.

So,put the golem in the first column,you can enter the town and pick the gems.

Yeah. That will take a little time wading through all that. But once I get my Win 7 right with H3, I'll look through it and select some maps to translate. I have MS Office and use Google Translator and my imagination. Two out of three ain't bad. :D

yes,Win7 is not good compatible with H3,many people had complained it in our forum :disagree:

Maybe you can try to run it in win98 compatible mode :)

in my this file,Rick must buy a skill so as to learn the skills I need.

If in your file,Rick can achieve 8 skills without buy the skill,you can save 2000 gold to buy some troops. B-)
