MM7 Mod: DI Book question

Unread postby bungleau » 07 May 2008, 14:36

In the standard game, once you retrieve the Divine Intervention book, you can now buy the spell at the guild. Does the same thing happen in the mod, or should I be extra careful with the copy I just got (and decide who I love most ;) )?

I suppose I'll be finding out shortly, but I thought I'd ask as well.

Drop it somewhere and the Arbiter should give you a new one. This works in the original at least, allowing you to get as many copies as you need.

Thanks, guys. Phobos, I'll try that tonight and report back. In the original game, it was a quest item so it would make sense for the arbiter to return it. In the mod... not so sure.

I'll also check to see if it's in the Breeding Grounds, just in case... if I can get past those first few Ancient Behemoths... :D

No such luck.... drop the DI book, and the judge just tells you tough luck.

When BDJ fixed that bug with the judge giving you back too much stuff, he *really* fixed it :)

Guess I'll have to decide who I love most... :D

I finished Breeding Zone while beta testing, Rev2. There was no Divine Intervention book as in original game. At least I did not find it.

Well, I just found it last night, so it's there ;) Both cleric and mage can now cast DI.

It's in the hidden chest in the maze-like area, where you have to go one side to open the hidden area on the other side.

I found it after the "quest" book, Bimbasto... I'd been carrying that copy around for a bit.

And Bloodline, it's Ctrl-right or -left arrow. Doesn't work in turn-based mode, though...

Thanx for the answer.
I tried to find Divine Intervention before the quest. May be that the reason, I did not find it... ;|

After clearing the vault, I found it in the Light Guild in Celeste as well. So it's out there... sometimes... ;)

Possibly after the quest is completed, this book is like others last level books and could be randomly generated. May be...

You should have gotten a manual with the game. It may be on the CDs somewhere as well... take a look. It will help tremendously...

Turn-based mode happens when you hit return. A hand shows up and characters take their turns, nicely and neatly. So do the monsters... meanly and messily :) TBM lets you think more during combat.

Just add something... in Turn Based you will always hit the monster. In real time are a lot missings.
