skill-leveling requirements (e.g. Intellect 50 before Learning Master) ? That sucks for my Cleric. Any tricks related to this? thx

Black potions and barrels will help. Most of the time (in my parties) i only have one soceres and one cleric, both need some other stat to gain mana. I just let the right class drink the right liquid...

The just find barrels of liquid, good luck with that :P. TBH, you really need to do this in the beginning of the game, it'ssomething you learn after you progressed really far for the first time...

Bonuses from items count. If you'd like, you could search around, at shops, for some. Or, maybe you have enough divided amongst your party that, if you combine them on one person, that person will have enough in the required stat.
