A Dawn of war (RPG Forum)
I will try to target the balor, the arrow may take his mind of the crazy little one long enough for his enchanted axe to do some damage ....
"Wonder whatever happened to the frost giants who were with us, seems weird they never made the arena, fairer fight had they made it." I ponder in a quiet moment
"Any summons would help people!"

"You should be a good fight." I say with a grin.
I take advantage of my small size, and run under the balor, and swing at the back of his leg as I spin around. After this, I will inch around, back to where I was before, ready to strike again.

I'm going to try to pull myself up, catch my bearings, and if necessary intercept any incoming attackers. Especially if Saphire has left herself vulnerable while attending to me.
Simmons: I think you’re asking me if these computers store all the data on Red and Blue armies?

"BY THE FROZEN BEARD OF THE BEARDLESS WOMEN OF FROSTHOLD, YOU SHALL DIE DEMON!!!" shouts one of the frost giants as it rushes Orcus. Five of the giants charge the unamused demon.
"Clearly you have no idea who you are dealing with. No matter. Come to your death fools!" With that, Orcus pulls his sword out of the air and cleaves one of the frost giants. The demon moves with unholy swiftness as it tears into the helpless giants. Within seconds, the five attackers lie disembowled before the mighty demon.
Stefan's air screams through the air, but misses the Balor, who dodges it at the last second. The miss does succeed in distracting the Balor long enough for Titan to sneak behind it and slash at it's leg. The Balor roars in anger as it sweeps it's maul towards Titan, barely missing the tiny warrior and Elvin. The beast turns to face the two, foiling Elvin's attempt to exploit a weakness.
As Vlad struggles to his feat, another succubus appears. Saphire catches the demon off guard with a greater shout, stunning the fiend for a few moments.
Jade and Onyx try to defend themselves as Topaz quickly applies basic healing spells.

"You know what I'm talking about you traitor. You haven't been talking to Lloth! Only I speak with Lloth!" Dhalia shouts at Ceres. Her apperance begins to reflect her anger; her skin deepens in color, her eyes glow red, and the metallic legs on her back begin to grow and sway in a menacing tango. "YOU DARE BETRAY ME MAGGOT?! AFTER EVERYTHING I DID FOR YOU???!!!"
Fear starts to set in upon seeing the transformation. Dhalia's legs wind back, as if preparing to strike. You don't know what you've done or what is happening. All you know is that Dhalia is ready to strike. Four legs jet out and pick the mageling off the ground.
Dhalia's eyes squint as she focuses in on Ceres. Quietly she asks "Any last words traitor?"

And the chickens. Those damn chickens.
The deadly spider legs of the mistress which are very prepared to strike me gives me a total chill. I remained motionless gazing upon it. I am in a complete awe with those bloodthirsty legs aimed at me. Several cerebration rushed through my mind, so many questions of what's and why's, when's and where's and none I can comprehend clearly. All I know is I am condemned.
But I managed to take away my gaze on her spider legs and look onto her. My eyes are sad as it meets the mistress' red glowing angry eyes. With a little luck, I happen to understand what she is talking about - my audience with Lolth.
Yes, I have spoken to her. The Spider Goddess, a powerful deity as I can see it - and all I can do is obey. I did not dare to ask so many question to the said deity when we had met. And that's my fault. I disregarded the knowledge that Dhalia is Lolth's avatar. So the next question entered my mind - If that is not Lolth, who was it? But due to total confusion and death that awaits me, it stayed vague and eventually went away.
"Mistress," I tried to speak eventhough it appears to be weak and cramped, "I did not betray you."
I sighed in total frustration, it seems that I did not please anybody with all those effort that I had exerted, anywhere I go. I just made my life a total ruin. Anyway, what can I do? This is my fate and I made it. My instinct tells me to fight over and defend myself, but my heart feels it is hopeless and my judgment reminds me of my destiny. So I remained relaxed and silent.
I tried to look again at her but this time my eyes are solace. I speak again since she requested for my last words, "But if you wish that my blood be spilled, let it be... I will not hinder you."
With that, I close my eyes and ready myself with the painful death that I am going to receive from Mistress Dhalia.

((OCC: This entire post is just about Ceres. I haven't updated the other part yet becuase I'm awaiting the responses.))
Before another word is spoken, two metallic legs jet through the mage's stomach. Blood erupts from the poor women's mouth as the shock begins to overtake her. The legs rescind, leaving two bloody holes, a limp Ceres, and a satisfied avatar. Dhalia uses the other metallic legs to shatter the legs on Ceres's back, snapping them with a loud pop. She then drops her former apprentice in the ground, like a disregarded tool.
Pain racks the traitor's body as a crimson pool covers the ground beneath her. As everything starts to go black, Dhalia can be heard barking something to her lieutenants.
"Dispose of her. In fact, put her between a rock and a hard place. I want her to suffer as much as possible before she dies. That will ma-"
That's the last Ceres hears as she drowns in the darkness.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The mage briefly regains consciousness, only to discover her vision is so blotted by blood, nothign can be seen. From the sounds of it, three people are talking.
"Where do you suppose this one came from?" asks a deep voice.
"I'm not sure" responds the soft voice of someone hovering close to the bloody body. "I don't know why anybody would bring a body here." A faint ripple of healing energy fills the body, keeping the mage from dying.
"They must have wanted her dead. They probably figured she'd die at the hands of the horde or by us. What do you plan to do with her?" asks another deep voice.
"We'll take her with us. If we leave her out here, she will die. Help me pick her up" responds the soft voice.
Two large hands scoop up Ceres as she slips back into the darkness.

((Ahem...lemme see...how do I include myself into this fight? Ok...got it!))
I had been looking around the area when suddenly Shady leapt out of my arms and starting running off to the west.
"Come here boy", I shout out to Shady.
Shady doesn't stop running until he leads me to the scene of the battle, where I immediately notice the Balor. As I look around hastily in my surroundings below ((they are inside an arena right? Not too sure)), I notice the rest of the party already engaged in battle.
I summon 2 wolves near the Balor and make a Called Shot to the head.

Right as a mane is about to end the rune master, the water elemental slams into the creature, sending it reeling back several feat. After some intricate hand gestures, the mane is engulfed in a conflagaration.
"Thanks for the assist" Onyx says as he takes a few deep breaths. "We may come out of this aliv-" he pauses upon looking down at Jade "in one piece..."
The succubus's neck proves no match for Vlad's blade, giving up the monster's head quite easily. With a satisfying thud, both the head and body collapse.
"That's one way to get a-head!" Saphire jokes loudly. Somewhere, someone groans.
The wolves lunge at balor with amazing speed, making the feat of catching one in mid-air and crushing it with one hand quite impressive for the balor. The fiend discards the rubbish and stomps on the other, flattening it. The fiend roars, but not in triumph, as an arrow pierces its shoulders.
"YOU COME OUT OF NOWHERE AND THE FIRST THING YOU DO IS GO AND HURT IS FEELINGS? THAT'S NOT VERY NICE MORTAL!" Orcus taunts in a smug voice from above as the balor storms towards Fate.
'THEN THIS WILL DOWN-RIGHT PISS HIM OFF!!!" shouts one of the frost giants as he hurls an axe at the balor, striking the creature in the gut. The balor roars in pain as it drops to its knees. The giant turns to the demon prince and singals him out with an axe "YOUR NEXT DEMON!"
A glimpse of anger crosses Orcus's face. He opens his mouth but nothing comes out. He choses to compose himself and smiles yet again. "YOU REALLY SHOULD KEEP YOUR EYE ON THE PRIZE FOOL!"
"WH-" is all the giant gets out before an axe strike him in the head, splitting it open like a ripe melon. The balor roars as the giant falls, picking up pace as it marches towards Fate. From the looks of things, he's the last demon standing.
"I DON'T REALLY CARE WHO LIVES OR DIES HERE" Orcus announces to the Balor. "KILL THEM ALL!"

As life slowly trickles back into the mage's body, she finds herself in a warm room, surrounded by shadowy figures. As they speak, you reconize them as the bodies that were talking above you before.
"Is this course of action wise?" asks the deep voice.
"Yes. I've gained a bit of... perspective since the incident. The darkness that surrounds this one has faded greatly" replies the man with the soft voice. "I know what I'm doing."
"If that is your desire. Just be careful mortal. We shall meet again" states the deep voice. An odd sound fills the room, like that of a teleportation spell.
Try as Ceres may, she is unable to move her body. The holes appear to have been repaired, but its still too painful to move and heavy shackles are affixed to her limbs. As she starts to rustle, the lone figure in the room approaches.
"Careful. You've suffered horrible injuries. Moving may not be very wise now." Try as she may, she can not make out who the person is. "And it appears your vision hasn't fully returned yet."
The figure walks closer, until he is right beside Ceres. "Hold still." Rejuvinating energy pours through the woman's body as the man chants. Within seconds, the mage is fully healed. As she opens her eyes, she is instantly drawn to two glowing orbs looking right as her. And something clicks; she knows exactly who the man is.

“Omega…” I speak dimly but there is amazement in my tone.
Confusion suddenly rushed into my mind. Omega’s presence bewildered me, making me ask myself if I am dead or still alive, but by the looks of the current situation it seems that I’m still alive.
I smile at Omega eager to ask how’d he have been but past events flashed in my thoughts reminding me of what I have been. My eyes turn sad and my facade turns grim and I slowly face away from him.
“Why am I here?” I speak sadly pertaining to his recent query, “I… ”
I could tell him no more because I do not know how could I explain the reason to him, so I just sighed.

"So you know," I glance at Omega for a moment assuming that the had group found him and definitely informed him of my evil act.
"I was suppose to lead the drow army for a huge assault here in the surface," I speak firmly,"But..."
My voice starts to weaken again, expressing dismay, "Mistress Dhalia...", I tried to regain the firm tone, "She accused me of betraying her, by having an audience to the Spider Queen whom she claimed..."
I pause for a while and this time my voice depicts confusion, "...was not the drow goddess..."

The Balor springs onto Winter, moving more swiftly then humanly possible. Bearing down with terrible might Winter is pinned, and the light is starting to fade around him. His struggles are unable to dislodge the creature and a feral grin appears on it's face. As the shadows start to claim Winter a whistling can be heard. Just as things fade to darkness he witnesses a axe come flying through the air. It connects to the Balors neck, removing it's head entirely. Prescious air comes flooding back into Winter's lungs.
"BRAVO!! BRAVO!!" bellowed Orcus. "GOOD SHOW! Well, it appears we have our winners. Very well mortal a deal is a deal. You and yours are free to leave. What we search for is not here anyhow. Perhaps we shall meet again. Oh, and I have a bit of a prize for you." With a demonic smile he fades out of exsistance, and the mine starts to shake.
"Earthquake!!" yells Saphire. "We have to go....NOW!. He's bringing the whole thing down on our heads."
