Another thought about the game, though, now that I play as a female: it seems the only (?) NPC romance is with that stuck-up bastard Anomen? Seems a little unfair, there are several possible romances if the portagonist is male, while they haven't made that much of an effort with the female ones... I know, most BG players are probably boys anyway, but still.

STAF11 - Staff of the Magi
This type of staff is thoroughly linked of the image of the spellcasting
profession, rare though it is. It is among the most powerful tools that a
wizard can possess, the culmination of complex enchantment and endless study.
This particular example is good in melee, grants Invisibility, and offers
protection from Charms and Evil. It can also cast a Spell Trap, launch a
Fireball-Lighting Bolt combination, and Dispel Magic. The quintessential mage

Yeah it's more fun this way. Except in cases where you have to find every last 0.001% of a map as in symphony of the night or get every single pokemon, that's too boring for me. In baldur's gate I had taken every single mission and seen all areas but some things are bound to escape me
I, for one, am dying to find out what colour they paint Michael's toenails.

Just finished Watcher's Keep... It was hard, I can tell you, as I'm still in Shadows of Amn, not Throne of Bhaal. Haven't quite finished off Irenicus yet.
I took the easy way out and sealed the Demogorgon in with the help of Helm. I tried fighting the bastard, but he's just insane. I only had two +4 weapons, and those mariliths he keeps summoning are also hard. With no time stop working I didn't really get the time to summon in any planetar assistance either. Long story short, he totally kicked my bee-hind. So I gave up. Maybe I'll try again some other time...

Just killed Irenicus
I tried using Spell Trap on him, but it didn't seem to take. I tried hitting him over and over, but he seemed to carry on and on, killing off my summoned creatures, casting maze and horrid wilting... and then, just as a change of pace... he died. Eh? Turns out, that Globe of Blades spell I cast earlier had been cutting him up, since my character was standing right next to him.
