Hey, at least I followed up with something on-topic

Another thought about the game, though, now that I play as a female: it seems the only (?) NPC romance is with that stuck-up bastard Anomen? Seems a little unfair, there are several possible romances if the portagonist is male, while they haven't made that much of an effort with the female ones... I know, most BG players are probably boys anyway, but still.

Ah, good post, I agree completely. Bring me a short sword and a leather any day, that's what heroism is all about.

Yeah, blame Bioware for not letting you role-play your coming out... :D

Hey, I know - how 'bout some hot lesbo action? Gotta find me one of them mods that allow for all kinds of romance crisscrossing :D

I'm sure it will be released for the PC someday. Most of BioWare's products have been.

Jade Empire was eventually released on the PC and it had pretty bad reviews, probably because consoles bog down the gameplay/interface.

Which staff is that, exactly? What's its name? I'm using a staff as primary weapon for the first time, and the best one I've seemed to find is the Staff of Rynn 1D6+4

Staff of the Magi. Can be found in the Bridge district, if you know how and can defeat a lich, a vampire, a beholder and a high-level mage.

protection from Charms and Evil. It can also cast a Spell Trap, launch a
Fireball-Lighting Bolt combination, and Dispel Magic. The quintessential mage

Ah yes I had found it the last time I went through shadows of Amn. Required a rogue stone to pass through a door you could not earlier. Naturally I would always forget that :D
I, for one, am dying to find out what colour they paint Michael's toenails.

Yeah it's more fun this way. Except in cases where you have to find every last 0.001% of a map as in symphony of the night or get every single pokemon, that's too boring for me. In baldur's gate I had taken every single mission and seen all areas but some things are bound to escape me :)

Yeah. I like how I can play a game several times and discover new things. Of course, I could speed up the process by playing an evil character once in awhile.
And the chickens. Those damn chickens.

I had that game several times on 199.9%. Never found the last 0.01 % :(

Just finished Watcher's Keep... It was hard, I can tell you, as I'm still in Shadows of Amn, not Throne of Bhaal. Haven't quite finished off Irenicus yet.

I took the easy way out and sealed the Demogorgon in with the help of Helm. I tried fighting the bastard, but he's just insane. I only had two +4 weapons, and those mariliths he keeps summoning are also hard. With no time stop working I didn't really get the time to summon in any planetar assistance either. Long story short, he totally kicked my bee-hind. So I gave up. Maybe I'll try again some other time...

Only time I finished watcher's keep I was soloing with a wizard and surprisingly it wasn't that hard. Of course with no party he had gathered some crazy experience, I forget the level.

Yeah, I'll retry it with the same character later.

Just killed Irenicus :)
I tried using Spell Trap on him, but it didn't seem to take. I tried hitting him over and over, but he seemed to carry on and on, killing off my summoned creatures, casting maze and horrid wilting... and then, just as a change of pace... he died. Eh? Turns out, that Globe of Blades spell I cast earlier had been cutting him up, since my character was standing right next to him.
