I have learned not expecting much about movies, lately. So, I think some of them can be better than what I wanted or expected.Omega_Destroyer wrote:If you go into the movie not expecting very much, it'll be fine.

I thought the second was the worst of the three of them, but I enjoyed it all the same. Every time I watch Gandalf coming down with the knights from the cliff, my body trembles. The feeling is very strong.

@Elvin
I have read the book and saw all the butchering. But I felt like all the three movies were matching between each other, even with those boring scenes. That's why you can jump them if you want.
But the third one I thought it was the best.
@Kalah
Agreed, mainly because of the song. That's also a scene when my body trembles and I feel something in the spine. I also feel that way when the knights charge against the hordes attacking Minas Tirith, when Aragorn runs alone against the Dark Gate...

It happens sometimes, when we (me and I) are not talking sense.ThunderTitan wrote:Is Panda talking to himself?! Damn, i got to use that.
For the songs, I had to buy all the three soundtracks. The good thing of it is when we are reading the book or something like that, and put on the song. It feels more real while reading - well, not so much at those cases when the hero is dying and a happy gleeful song is playing.
