Meh, it was ok. The plot wasn't very good. The Who Shot Mr. Burns arc had a much better story.
And the chickens. Those damn chickens.

If you go into the movie not expecting very much, it'll be fine.

I almost always will read a review of the movie before watching it, so, yeah, i expect tones of things

I have learned not expecting much about movies, lately. So, I think some of them can be better than what I wanted or expected.

I absolutely hated the 2nd one...
I, for one, am dying to find out what colour they paint Michael's toenails.

I thought the second was the worst of the three of them, but I enjoyed it all the same. Every time I watch Gandalf coming down with the knights from the cliff, my body trembles. The feeling is very strong. :)

If you have read the book you should understand. Totally butchered, if you are to make a change make it for the better - not the worst. Also many scenes were mindnumbingly boring.

The best scene in any of the three: When Pippin has lit the beacon, and the fires start lighting up from Amon Dín and the whole chain...
In War: Resolution, In Defeat: Defiance, In Victory: Magnanimity, In Peace: Goodwill.

@Elvin

I have read the book and saw all the butchering. But I felt like all the three movies were matching between each other, even with those boring scenes. That's why you can jump them if you want. :D But the third one I thought it was the best.

@Kalah

Agreed, mainly because of the song. That's also a scene when my body trembles and I feel something in the spine. I also feel that way when the knights charge against the hordes attacking Minas Tirith, when Aragorn runs alone against the Dark Gate...

And LotR were pretty great movies for a fantasy book adaptation.

Had some breathtaking scenes and I really liked the music. As you say it clicked together.

It happens sometimes, when we (me and I) are not talking sense.

For the songs, I had to buy all the three soundtracks. The good thing of it is when we are reading the book or something like that, and put on the song. It feels more real while reading - well, not so much at those cases when the hero is dying and a happy gleeful song is playing. :D

Underworld was a good movie. The sequel was very disappointing to me.
