Summary
Ultimate Artifacts?
Hmm, this is tough. I haven't played Heroes II for quite some time.Darmani wrote:Neglected thanks from a friend
For might is elevated over magic
Yet still you keep it till your end
Even then, this kindness can move the dead
Take heart in our gift against a crushing swarm
Take heart in our gift when troops are by sadness torn
Take heart in our gift when generals are newly sworn
Yet not when there is little hope to see the morn'
Concerns Heroes II.
Hint: It's one of very few, you see.

They're not called negative artifacts either.Darmani wrote:I don't believe negative artifacts are officially called "cursed."

I know. I meant Artifacts with Negative Effects. I would have typed that out, but I was making that post from an iPhone. They're not called negative artifacts either.
Isn't it called "Remove Curse?" And what about Bless? An artifact that has negative effects are called Cursed artifact. They have always been cursed artifacts. In fact, a Cursed artifact cannot be removed unless a dispell curse spell has been cast upon it.

Bless isn't used for curses. It's used for blessing things . And if we are going by Hero standards, it would only increase your damage.
SO! If it's not an artifact (nor a cursed/negative/belowzero one), it should be "the action of not allowing troops to flee from an encounter"?
Although it can happen in other heroes games...ah, well. Just a shoot in the dark by now.
*expecting another hint in the meantime *

That was caused by the....Shackles of War, right?
That's has something to do with an artifact. It also does not match much of the riddle. Do I need to tell you whether it's the answer?
I will not give you a hint. All I will do is tell you that it is thanks from a friend in the form of a gift, which of course you should already know. Think about what types of things that can be other than artifacts.
Actually, I will give a semi-hint: Unless you have an excellent memory, if you have not played Heroes II in a while, there is no way you'll get this.

Actually, I've meant that single question when you go against an army that's weak and they ask you if they can leave.Darmani wrote:That was caused by the....Shackles of War, right?
Hum, I suppose I'll go for a walkthrough, since I feel it's campaign related and I've never played a campaign in H2, just single maps. If we are to accept a group of units from a friendly player during the role and we refuse, that can turn them against us. Well, if I find something like that, I'll return, because that's what I got by now.Actually, I will give a semi-hint: Unless you have an excellent memory, if you have not played Heroes II in a while, there is no way you'll get this.

Okay, it's not pursuit and engagement.Actually, I've meant that single question when you go against an army that's weak and they ask you if they can leave.
Huh? What are you talking about? If we are to accept a group of units from a friendly player during the role and we refuse, that can turn them against us.
