Darn...you second guessed my intention...:devious:

I have to agree with Omega though stefan...there is something really bad going on with your water if it burns more than the Listerine...:S

Why...where's everybody? I'm feeling lonely here today. *blinking in a very lonely way*

Yeah, that blinking is something. Told me, how long you are training such - normally?

Meanwhile I tested two soundcards, ymf-724 and 3dwave-nx for dos games compatiblity and results is that first one can through opl3 emulate everything at very good quality and second one is excellent in playing old sb compatible sound but completely lack sb midi support, hmm, that's to its no opl restriction.

Nothing is like sb16, even if older qemmu (7.2) is close, didn't tested newer releases currently.

Pol! *jumping and grabbing his leg assuring he won't flee away*

Now that you're speaking of sound stuff, a friend of mine has a computer that won't identify his sound card, whenever Windows is installed. Once upon a time, it was working, then a message diplaying that it could be installed the sound card or something appeared, and then, it stopped working.

Do you figure what could be happening?

No idea here :) Hey that's a sad looking panda! What happened to you little fellow?
I, for one, am dying to find out what colour they paint Michael's toenails.

Oh, that's not sad. That's a smart-kind-of-begging-like look, so I can use my powers to control the world. :devious: If I ask you:

Please, do it.

and

Please :beg:, do it.

What is more appealing? :D Now, I can say:

Please (look at the avatar), do it.

BTW, I'm way too much happier than'at. After I shaved my hair off, I decided to forget any sorrow feeling from that time on, and I'll keep my mood always in a happy stance. :proud:

Could be two things which I would check first from these minimum of information.

First if card is fast seated, you may use brush to remove all dust from bus and check card pins if they aren't corroded or something.

If not, second way should be leading to windows irq control place (Buried somewhere in the Device Manager, System Devices, PCI Bus and here force windows control IRQ over bios one, this place won't be accesible in all cases from here, hmm, mostly win98 allows such direct access, else you can try to visit motherboard bios and redefine IRQs there)

And, of course, you may try to reseat card into different bus. The best one is always bus0 - last one on the desk. It's also good to having one bus on mb free if nothing helps you may try to remove some other cards if are presented...

And the card can be also dying or disliking board in general. From my experience I can tell that most card don't react on blinking at all. Hammer is different things.

Thanks for the info, Pol. I'll tell my friend to do that, but, it's more likely that he'll end up catching a bus to downtown... :D

If you stare at Panda's new avatar for a few seconds, you could become … hypnotized. Image

I can't be hypnotized because the overwhelming boredom emitting from Election Law is blocking out all other sensations.

Hum, so if I have headaches, break an arm or really ill, I just get a dosage of Election Law and everything won't bother anymore?
