That kind of thing is always happening around here, but the worst is how people is lured by some adds and fall for it. One that is common is when you get a call (for a start, it's a charged call... :mad: ), then they say that if you buy a number X of cards for you phone (pre-paid cellphones, that is) and give them the number of these cards, you'll win something really nice, a TV, or else. So, people buy, sometimes even 200 or 300 bucks and give them the numbers - so, the smart-guys get the number for their cellphones and leave people in limbo. :disagree:

My Secured Transactions professor no longer needs to be eaten because he finally got our grades turned in. I've never been so happy to get a 52 in my life. Thank God for the 25 point grading scale.
And the chickens. Those damn chickens.

Nah, he wasn't that bad. He even acknowledged what a horrible final it was and allowed us to use all of our notes and UCC code book on the final.

I can't imagine wanting to spend lots of time with one's lecturer, unless it was a she and a hottie maybe .... and that of course would require me to be 19 again as well

I had one, but this was in primary school and I was about 12 at the time .... she was the PE teacher, which should be no surprise

My advisor is pretty cool...she's in her 50's, but she's a young spirit, and lots of fun to take classes with. I can't wait to take Applied Microbiology in third year with her...:oex:

Not quite. A 52 was a C. So the grading scale awas about 25 points lower because without a curve, about only 25 people out of 100 would have passed the class.
And the chickens. Those damn chickens.

I once scored 12 (out of hundred) on a physics test and ended up with a B because of the curve.

Gaaah! My home is invaded by spiders, and there's no man in the house to save me/throw them out!!! Batman! Where are you?!?!
Brave as I am, I still managed to put a glas over the (dead) spider so it couldn't run away... Not that it would run away since it's dead. :vomit:
