If HV plays as good as it looks, we're all in for a treat.

It looks better each time I watch the video! Still, it took a little bit too long while entering the demon town - I hope the level of detail will be configurable.

Several parts shown in the video had a Heroes look, i.e. selection of the subskill during gaining an experience level. I was also impressed with the audio track (had a LOTR feel to it), hopefully that will be part of the game.

About the music, it was the same we could hear in the first video. According to Fabrice it's a combat theme but NOT composed by Rob King. I don't know however if that means that the theme is not from H5 or that others composers are working in the music score besides Rob King.

hmm, yeah, about the music..It did sound really good, but it brings the question of who composed it and what its really for?

My guess is this is a theme from another Ubi game "borrowed" for demo purpose as Rob King is probably composing H5 music as we talk :p

This tune is a very "neutral" combat/epic music, so it could come from any universe (AFAIK, it could be from Settlers, or Alexander, or a WW2 game...)

Anyone notice the demon hero who created demon terriotry (lava etc) as he walked! Looked cool.

Yeh - I noticed that. It looks as if HOMMV will follow a similar route to Disciples in this respect, but with heroes changing territory rather than appropriate territory types spreading from their towns. I like that idea of designating your turf - It might make other players think twice about wandering the land of a powerful warlord.

Well I don't think that the heroes transform the terrain. It's just that they leave a trace, just as the human Heroe leave some kind of light trace. I guess that with the pass of days that trace will get dissappeared.
