Might and Magic 7 Tutorial
I think I used it on my first run through, and that's it. But I suppose that's the purpose of a tutorial. How about you lot, have any of you used it (or, alternatively, wished you'd had it to use in say, MM6?), or did you just wing it for your first game?

Likewise. Sometimes there are useful tips in the tutorial that aren’t immediately obvious otherwise, especially in an unfamiliar series but also in familiar ones to see what’s changed, so I usually play though the tutorial of ANY game the first time I play it.Ethric wrote:Well I only employed her services the first time

Unfortunately, she didn't explain the useful info, like the idea of recovery time mattering far more than attack damage/AC. MMVII was my first Might and Magic game, and there were my clerics, lumbering along in Chain without my even upgrading their chain skill . . . oh, well, live and learn.
Or, as was more often in the case in that first game, die and learn.

Far too many people speak their minds without first verifying the quality of their source material.

Used it a bit at first... after all there were differences from 6 to 7.
But as i had actually played M&M8 before 7 i was aware of most of the big differences...
So i turned her off.
And every time since when i start a new party i want to stab her in the ribs cauz i always forget to turn her off when starting out.

M&M VI - the best.
I also did use the interface guide on my first and only complete run thru of MM7.
P.S. - JMK, could you please refrain from the profanity in future posts and replies? There may be younger people here, and I'd like to expose them to the better qualities of participating in this forum.

I'd rather be part bull than a complete sheep.
