Haven't seen him in a while (maybe his wife gave birth? A new addition to the Urlus clan :applause:...or perhaps DL kidnapped him ).
Wouldn't it be cool if the baby was born at midnight, New Year's Day?

I haven't seen DL or TT around lately. I would have thought they would've been the chief spammers in The Christmas One-Word Story, but I haven't seen "hide nor hair" of either of them in that thread.

Yes it would! :D

That means they're resting up for some insane spamming when they come back :D.

If their post counts didn't reset daily, they would probably have their own rank .

Things indeed slow down when they are not here to debate against. Althought with Random Thoughts getting more posters it is a little livelier :) and with new people coming in to spice things up it makes it more interesting. Also see that the 'make a town' bug has hit everybody. This is good for the forum :).

Just a bit of "Baby Fever," Stefan. :D

Now that *I'M* back, if we had DL, Titan and TARMASKAS with a good net connection... this place would be jumping.

Something completely irrelevant.
I remembered recently that in H3 Armageddon's Blade visiting a pyramid could give you the spell 'fear(disabled)'.What was it anyway? Was there a way to enable it?How come it was dropped?
I would be curious to learn even after so many years :)
I, for one, am dying to find out what colour they paint Michael's toenails.

True, true - that was here. Fear is spell of fifth level you may see it as ability for Azure Dragons. However, the one from pyramids never worked and message, as well as reward, was completely removed with first AB patch.

The Fear spell was reused by WoG, ¨
though never put back in pyramid.
I think that Wire protested.

So casting it would randomly get enemy creatures to lose their turn?
And...a patch that removes a spell instead of fixing it? :| Weird.

I was in job, so it was going in limited way. Tiny celebration and back to job. That's it.

Twice times, Yes :D Spell remained but is inactive and cannot be obtained in the pyramid anylonger. Though here it was only the message, maybe in some AB alpha.

So many things happening behind the scenes...In the past few years I've made it a habit of learning what I can of the companies that develop the games I play. You can hear some funny stories of how some things came to be,why others changed and what didn't make it to the final release.Sadly this usually gives a picture of something incomplete,a project that shed parts of it so as to sustain itself...

Yes I know, they mostly tend to cut it out. Companies like easy life. I see that you adopted DL style... .

Ok back early from my jaunt to hollywood, basically good news/bad news deal. Good news, they do like my idea and want to make a pilot...bad news is they want somebody else to do the script (as I am not a 'seasoned' scriptwriter). I would retain the rights to the idea, and get paid, but I would not be directly involved. *sighs*. Got 48 hrs to call them back with my decision, and I really don't know what to do. (good thing I did copywrite the material before going). I just don't like the idea of letting somebody else decide everything that happens. I don't mind them having some control, but total control makes me edgy. Advice?

P.S. Jet lag stinks! As for LA I couldn't stand it *sighs* tooooo big for me (am a small town girl at heart). Had to get out as soon as I could. Got to say they did have style though. Limos, first class plane tickets, first class hotel (Hilton but in a private suite). Didn't cost me a dime. The place was overwhelming though. Couldn't make heads or tails of anything :(.

what should you do .... well, the answer is a question: Is the possibilty that it doesn't get made right more important to you then the possibility that the idea will never see the light of day at all?

From what I know of you it's not about the money, so it really is as simple as that I think .... :)

Great news that they liked the idea though, it's a brilliant reflection on you IMO

Mostly this depends on you. If you aren't planning this one like an openning scene and it's more like your life dream I would say not. Though here may be details which may turn it backward.

If you can you may try to lure them by publicating part of your piece (or better some "presequel") in fantasy magazine, book or such (www portals also count, maybe much better in our century of fruit bat), I belive after that that it will drastically improve your chances. Eeek, you may also try to seek out for another publisher but without previous publicationing the chances seems to be about the same.
