No. You haven't won, because you don't know how to play the lottery. The ball has to be shot into the net!

Now that was in poor taste... as much as it was inevitable.

Poor guy.
We can only hope that someday his zombie will return to reign over the living and dead.

It may be in poor taste... but my husband can't stop watching it and laughing his butt off. I also have a link to the video of him taking a quick drop at the end of a rope. But posting THAT would be really bad taste.

Happy New Year!

Here in Northwestern United States, the New Year is 27 hours 30 minutes away … and I reached my first goal of getting 1,000 posts even before the New Year started. :-D

Oh, how I would love to be there right now. I went to San Juan a couple of years ago for a business trip and it was a very pleasant trip.

I went with my folks and we stayed at the Hilton in San Jose. We got a rent car and drove up the coast to the rain forest and down to Ponce and Santa Isobel. Got looped at the Bacardi distillery. Ate some great food. Went to a baseball game. And did not have to change currency!

Yes. It is a beautiful place. My parents were born here and as the saying goes: Home is where the heart is. Sometimes I miss living back in the US, but then here I have all of my extended family and there's no hustle and bustle like in the US cities (just peace and quiet! :D ).

Anyhow, unless there's a RT member from Kiribati or something, our Australian friends will be first into the New Year. :-D

Just over 16 hours to go here. My guests will be arriving in about 10 hours. (It's a quarter of 9 at the moment.) I still have to mop the floors. *bleck* And go to the store... and cook... Not to mention scrub the fryer. *bleck*

Oh well. It will be worth it. My friends are So much Fun!

Our own Expos played a couple of games in Puerto Rico, before they died.

Fourteen hours before the new year here. I don't have any plans for tonight, but I'm going out of town early tomorrow to meet the whole family.
