i couldn't stand wog either; it had a lot of options, true, but with most of them were enabled(as it comes when you install it) made the map/hero screen/everything very cluttered. I wanted to play heroes3 and what did i get with wog? heroes 5000 :P Not good for mp? its horrible  I've played Her...

it makes me sick whenever i look at neverwinter nights2 and how the release was handled compared to h5; I mean, before the nwn2 came out obsidian made available the "map editor" because they realized that the reason why nwn1 had such a long life was because of the fan made modules and i be...

separating the spells would be a great decision from a design and moding point of view. You have to realize that for the average user(average as in the user that only plays the game) this would have absolutely no effect at all, he will see the lightning spell in all its glory but underneath the hood...

go to objectives and there's a list of units you have to have in order to pass, i don't know if you need those exactly or those are just the max amount of each unit you can bring along

Having creature damage being logarithmic ? i don't really care about that, it's got its good points and bad points, but, having a different spell for creatures than heroes would indeed be a good design choice. I'm not talking about another spell, the same spell is good enough just store it's informa...

the warlocks ultimate is the worst of the bunch because it was made when elemental chains where more complex, and you could do more damage by breaking them; it should be more of a mage thing as the warlock is the closest thing to a sorcerer that we have in h5(ie D&D sorcerer)

these are all theoretical scenarios; i for one dont care that much for knowledge so i wouldnt ever make a 10/10/20/20 hero; i mean who needs 200mana in a battle? 10/10/30/10 would be a better hero imo, or to stay on the same level as the might hero, 7/5/30/8

And Narxes is in fact an "ordinary" Academy hero.
Don't care about the hero itself, what i like about him is his atitude/accent in the campaign :D

well might heroes aren't that full of att and def as it was in h3 because only the heaven heroes have att and def as primary and secondary attributes; sylvan and inferno heroes are semi might heroes as they have att/def as primary attribute but theyr sec attribute is knowledge; the other heroes are ...

some valid points, but also in my eyes the hydra doesnt really fit the dungeon team cause hydras are more of a swamp/forest land creature. I've seen a game in whitch the basilisk was an oversized rooster with a poisonous bite, so i dont realy care if in h3 the hydra was in a swamp; its in another u...

build up a town to castle, get many archers and pathom forces; get the gilrean to follow you, and attack you in the castle; focus fire on the catapult, then dragon/archers/druids and its over; the rest of his units will just stand there; don't forget that the comp loves to attack your panthom units;...
