MMX: The Journey

I have been hoping for a new M&M game ever since Ubisoft took over. Thank you a ton, Marzhin, for pushing as hard as you did on M&M XL. I, for one, aim to repay you by buying the game as soon as preorders are available, lol. Although Legacy isn't out yet, I'm extremely optimistic that Marzhi...

Might and Magic X Trailer!

After these past several years fearing for there to not be a continuation to the MM series, I feel astonished and excited that it's finally happened. And then I read the comments: hellegennes: "It seems likely that this is a quick and dirty attempt at a revival of a series which hadn't had an u...

Welcome to the forums. ^_^ Having the external dwellings increase the recruitment of the city, rather than directly caravaning the troops, is still pretty nifty to me. I think that's a great implementation. Having there be one giant pool of troops shared between all cities is kinda weird, though. Ma...

Great idea for Ubihole (patent pending :P) - declare all users experiencing game crashes pirates with a lot of viruses and "wrong" interfering applications and stop wasting resources on patching. As a somewhat unrelated side comment... when Titan Quest was designed, one of the starting qu...

Crashing? Weird.. Last time that happened to me was in the beta and it wasn't nearly as frequent. Different PC configurations are so unexpected! Yep, and that's exactly why it is so important to try and isolate and reproduce bugs: to make sure the problem is with the GAME and not the player. If the...

Finally a GameSpot Review: 8/10

It's somewhat frustrating to read all of these posts. I mean, all these accusations of reviewers being paid and not having actually played the game. I could see such accusations with one or two or even ten overtly provable false reviews, but Metacritic shows 46 reviews, and a good 30 of them give He...

This is funny. I've experienced the exact opposite. I played Sanctuary magic and Stronghold might as well. I keep getting no losses on my Sanctuary hero (not sure about spells used, but I've yet to run into mana problems and I don't even have meditation) and always end up with losses on Sandor. hm....

I turned off spellcasting during quick combat almost as soon as I turned on quick combat (i.e., day 1). I have played the Stronghold (might), Sanctuary (magic), and Necromancer (magic) campaigns in that order. This has led me to an interesting conclusion: despite the Sanctuary army being quite good ...

1) Shackles artifact that causes no hero be able to retreat from a battle - what is the use? Since you can "revive" a hero even if he is dead, I don't get it. In older Heroes games, when you killed a hero he was killed. Now I see the hero still alive, even after a battle in which I used t...

This game is so buggy I am already starting to regret I bought it, which is a pity since it seems to be a great game. I just can't enjoy it because how broken it is. how could this game even be released? I always imagine a group of very frustrated testers, artists, writers and programmers slamming ...

Perhaps I'm in the minority, but I actually liked Heroes 2's campaign and campaign structure. Then again, I think I was 14 when I played it, so perhaps my opinion was, shall we say, unrefined...

I see. Well, I did not have this idea of a 6, maybe because my favorite PC games (baldur's gate, planescape torment, neverwinter nights, diablo) don't have a 6th installment, or because my favorite console games (zelda, metroid, mario, earthbound) are all awesome =) I'm really sorry to hear that du...

I've played 6's. From the now 40+ hours I have personally played of this game, it doesn't feel, act, or look like a 6. I beg your pardon for my ignorance. Would you explain to me what a 6 should be like and why heroes VI does not feel like a 6? To me, a 6 is either thoroughly barely-better-than-ave...

I've played 6's. From what I've seen of this game on youtube, it doesn't look like a 6. That's precisely your problem. I've played 6's. There is a work around for the map scrolling bug. The bug occurs when you try to scroll the map before the map is fully loaded. To not get hit by it, you just have to wait a minute when you first load the map (after you press a key to get beyond the "press a key to start" screen). At least...

GameSpy Reviews Heroes VI

I really don't understand it. The only noticeable bug I've met is the easily remedied map scrolling problem. Otherwise, I am 18 hours in, mostly in three lengthy gaming sessions, and I have yet to lose connection to Uplay. No crashing, no black screens, no blinking cursor, nothing. Knock on wood, I ...

It hurts me every time I convert a Haven town. That song is great. :-\
