RPGDot has news of a new Czech patch for Heroes of Might and Magic V that brings the game to version 1.021. The update was created by CD Projekt and fixes some minor localization issues. You can pick it up at 3D Gamers.

On GameSpot, there is a discussion about patching the digital purchase version of the game distributed by Boonty Games (and advertised by the big gaming site). It appears that neither the standard patches nor the previous digital purchase patch work with the Boonty version. According to a member of the GameSpot forums, Boonty initially claimed that this was not their problem. However, they recently found the solution to the problem and passed the updated patch onto Ubisoft for QA testing. The updated digital purchase patch will be posted soon, according to a GameSpot representative.
