Kotaku points to a List of commercial failures in computer and video gaming at Wikipedia. In addition to the greatest failures in the history of video games (Daikatana and E.T., among others), several role-playing games of long-running series made the list: Interplay's Wizardy 8, the RPG of the Year 2001 according to Computer Gaming World, Origin's Ultima IX: Ascension, a game that I enjoyed despite the disappointing finale and the bugs, and Might and Magic IX: The Writ of Fate, a title that many of you know well.

The list also contains the game I'm currently playing, Beyond Good & Evil by Ubisoft. The game is incredibly fun; it's the perfect diversion after a long day at work, it has a good plot, and you can play it with kids. The game is fairly cheap these days, so try to find a copy if you like action/adventure games.
