Now, that's funny...
Veldryn 15:15 And Vel found a dirty old jawbone of a walrus and put forth his hand, and took it, and in his unholy rage, he slew thirty four thousand men and children therewith.

It's weird how little kids can survive falling from the 9th floor... it's like they're made to be abused. Guess someone/thing knew something.

Ha.. so true. Once I was almost hit by a train, because before that, when I didnt saw any trains on sight I started walking near platform edge. Later my cell-phone rang, I put on my ear-phones, and soon become engrossed in conversation and didnt pay much attention on surroundings.

I came to sense, when train on high speed dart out from my back in 10 cm from my rucksack, while I was still on the edge of a platform, staring in one direction. That was clearly my fk up, yet, when I turned around I saw about 5-6 people with eyes wide open. And not single one of that azhlz didnt try to warn me or pull away !

I just saw the babyality. I'd be surprised if that didn't kill her. If that's the case, I feel awful laughing at it.

Right, and the breakdancer would sue the parents for their child disturbing the performance.

Small children have a way better chance of surviving a fall from the 9th floor, they have very bendable bones etc. Saw 2 cases in the in the paper just a few weeks ago. It's like they're made to be resistant to idiocy.

I didn't really know where to put this, so this is as good a place as any. Over at the MSNBC forums, I was reading a thread about what video games people play with their children. I found part of one guy's response amusing:
Quake II. Not necessarily a child-friendly game, but read on. My daughter at 3 was constantly having nightmares about 'monsters'. Every night she woke screaming from the monsters in her dream. We started playing Quake (she called it the boom boom game), which I customized with all monsters. I outfitted her with unlimited ammo and invulnerability. She walked around killing the monsters. After a week, she came in my room after a full night's sleep. Here is the conversation

Daddy, I had a dream last night about monsters:

I said, were you scared?

She said "No, I just railed them".
That's great, man. Instead of trying to teach your kid that there are no such thing as monsters, teach her that the best way to deal with a problem is to "rail it". ;|

Yeah, unless she owns a gun.

And how is telling your kid that monsters aren't real gonna make her stop having bad dreams?!
