The game is simple: I ask questions, you try to find the answers any way you can, and send them to me via PM. Here's the first round:

1. Which German officer came up with the idea of creating so-called "pocket battleships" to fool the Versailles treaty and still create a strong naval force?

3. Who made the first motorised flight?
4. Who lifted the Danish king Erik Plogpenning's siege of Lübeck?

Tempted to participate again, but I think I'm too lazy. I'd just end up with the lowest score again.

btw, Kalah's first name isn't Kalah?

Or at least no longer hates my guts.

I know the answers to several of these, but will have to pester some friends and hit Google for the rest.

Well, there's about five days left..

You can do like Scarlett and send in the answers you've got. Then you can send revised answers when you've had time to think some more. I will accept answers until I post the correct answers here.

Yes... None of us want to relive the "I forgot to send my answer" fiasco that befell Ethric during the Survivor game that launched the 6 month fued. (WHICH, by the way, I won.)

OK, here are the...

Answers, round #1:

1. The idea of building "pocket battleships" was presented by Erich Raeder.
2. My first name is Petter.
3. The first motorised flight was made by Gustav A. Weißkopf, on August 14th, 1901.
4. The siege was lifted by Birger Jarl (Earl), who managed to bring in supplies.
5. Lety sent Ethric cookies (they were yummy, too).
6. Philip Fox played Baldrick in the pilot.
7. PB lives in Australia.
8. Trident is "the nuclear missile Harrods would sell you" (try googling that quote).
9. What was left of the German forces was taken over by Karl Dönitz.
10. The Game Nazi allows five games at once.
