I've seen some requests to lower the resources needed for "minifacts", so i finally got around to doing something quick and dirty.
how does reducing the resource costs by 2 for every resource sound?
so a life amulet costs 3 wood and 3 crystal instead of 5 wood and 5 crystal.
too much?
too little?
anyway, it's done so if somebody wants it, just ask and I'll go ahead and put it up.
lower resource requirements for miniartifacts

here 'tis:
https://www.celestialheavens.com/homm5/ ... ofacts.pak
I'm playing with it right now, it seems pretty reasonable.
as soon as i get some feedback, I'll go ahead and put it up in the mod table.

it's a .pak file. if you are using IE, you have to manually get it to ignore the automatic extension it tries to put on everything.
-rt-click on the link, select "save target as"
-under the "save as type" window, select: "all files"
-manually change the exension to .pak in the filename window
-hit the save button
friggin IE.
or you could simply download as is, then manually change the extension back to .pak
whatever's easier for ya.

yup. IE is the single biggest reason i decided to put all the mod files inside of zips in the table.
haven't a clue why IE decides to change the extensions for unregistered files all the time.
maybe the new version will fix it.
ITMT, if you still have problems, let me know and I'll simply zip it up.
