I agree that it would be better to make Dawn of War 2 instead of another expansion. The one problem I have with that is I would probably not be able to play it on my laptop and would finally have to get a new desktop.

I think you could combine the Daemonhunters with the Witch Hunters and pull it off. Even though they would still have borrowed forces, I don't see that being a huge problem seeing as how 4 armies share (for the most part) a Lemun Russ tank.

Yeah, lets have even more dragons. :disagree:

And the Predator isn't a Leman Russ.

And as i said, the Grey Knights are already SM troops in Dark Crusade.

Here's a list of all the armies: http://us.games-workshop.com/games/40k/ ... efault.htm

And i forgot about the yltimate vehicle, they already seem to have invented the Baneblade for the IG. And one of the assassin cultists is already i the IG too.

Funny you posted those links because I was just on that website.

Ok, I cede. You nailed it with the dragon comment.

You could always take away the Grey Knights, but it probably wouldn't be enough. I think it would be interesting if in Dawn of War 2, when playing as the Space Marines, you could call in elite units from a specific chapter. You could only have one such unit, but I think it would add variety.

And i'd like Chaos to be able to choose between the 4 gods.

But the SM chapter elites are basicaly uniquely painted figures with maybe some small extra rules and that's about it. Now if they made you choose between different arms of the Inquisition (Grey Knights/Sisters of Battle/Inquisitors), now that might work.

The different Chaos Gods would be nice. I was disappointed by the Bloodthirster unit. He was tough and could do a lot of damage, but he didn't seem to be anything spectacular, especially if you are using the Tau and have him snared.

What I was getting at with the chapter units is the specific chapters could have an advantage over one of the other armies. For example, you could create a unit of Ultramarines that would be highly effective against the Tyranids.

The various arms of the Inqusition would be a really good idea. To add on to it, I think it would be nice to have the option instead of getting a Chaplin or Librarian, you could additionally chose from the Inqusitions commander units.

We're getting Mark of Chaos instead of Dawn of War 2 which is Warhammer Fantasy. And MAN I'm tired of people who can't run new games. Update or don't play. Really, you people who refuse to upgrade and come with excuses like: "It's only one year old!!" when the graphics card is crap only got yourself to blame.

Sorry Campaigner if we aren't as fortunate to have the disposable income you apparently do. Some of us have more important things to spend our money on like rent, food, and school.

Mark Of Chaos comes out the 15th of November and isn't made by Relic.

I'm just saying that if you can't pay, then you can't play. That's how things are. And I love how how some people always bring up poor, starving people when you talk about buying non-essential things :) Just like I care

And I'm not joining anyone :|

Anyone seen the monolith?? MAN! I build on in the tutorial to learn how they and they just rolled over everything! I let it loose for five seconds and when I clicked it again I had won :hoo:

You don't read PA, do you. Apparently alot of ppl on the Warhammer Online (Mark of Chaos?) forums seemed to think that the orcs we're copies of Blizzard's WC ones.

Yeah, right! :devious:

And just like poor ppl can't afford enough food some ppl can't afford the latest video card. Doesn't mean you should tell them to shut up and take it.

So how is the warfare going?

I started the campaign and went on to understand how the meta-map works'n'stuff. Reminds me of RISK. Gonna start with Tau since they're the new kids on the block. Probably do Orks last....

Playing on Hard....wonder which race will be killed first.

Then clearly, you should not be playing.

Currently, I'm walking over everybody as the Imperial Guard. The only area I've never been able to successfully storm is the area that does not give you any reinforcements and the prize is the forward base. I just ignore that province. So far, I control the entire eastern and southern coasts.

I've restarted as Chaos on normal since Hard is just too hard.

Me, Eldar and Orks control 4 provinces each. IG and Tau 3. SM and Necrons 2.

Have anybody attacked a HQ yet? I mean, it's there a reasonable chance for succes or do you gotta have a full load of honor guards to have a chance?

Also don't fully understand the strengh system in provinces. I noticed that when you garrison troops the strengh attribute rises. But some capitals don't got much garrisoned troops and still have 10+

I've finished the camapign with the Tau. I knocked off the Necrons, Chaos, and Eldar. The Imperial Guard, Orks, and the Blood Ravens (I think) were overrun by Chaos.

Regarding headquarter provinces, you don't need a full honor guard to stand a chance, but it certainly helps because you often get attacked within a minute of starting a mission. I find the headquarter maps actually easier than maps you have to face two large, elite forces. Your best bet when storming a headquarter is to build up your defenses as fast as you possibly can, especially if you chose to fight Chaos. Storming Chaos, you'll be constantly attacked by cultists, who don't really pose a huge threat, but they come wave after wave. Be very careful if you attack the Necrons, because if your commander dies, you lose. And to make matters worse, the computer will target your commander 80% of the time.

As for province strength, it refers to what units are garrisoned there. The max for any provinces containing headquarters will be 10. The extra 5 on headquarter maps refer to the buildings they start out with. At least that's what I've gathered.
