Not a beautiful boyart, but shows what the expansion brings. So it is a good boxart.
I am back and ready to... ready to... post things.

It seems that those Ubi's designers, who have been assigned to Might and Magic product branding, are really underpaid or unprofessional. The dwarf looks ok, although lacks character. The logo is awful, they just took the old logo sketch and applied color overlay to the "Heroes V" line, and simple "plastic like" layer style for the "Might and Magic" line. Also, it looks like the idea for the background image was copied from Heroes III "Loose town" video.
Taken as a whole, the box art looks very plain, I doubt it will stand out and draw a lot of attention to the final product.

It's outdated. It would have been cool 1999 but it's a new millenia now....

Makes me think of all those movies who all started with ultrathick traffic in New York. That became a symbol of "The 80:ies"

It looks pretty cool, but that hammer doesn't look like it can do much except hammer in nails.

Obviously you were never hit over the head with a hammer.

See here for a pick of what a real war hammer looked like: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c ... ammer2.jpg
It wasn't very big.

Yeah, but games preffer smithing hammer because it looks more dangerous.Yet the smaller the hammer, the easier it is to wield, and the force is concentrated on smaller area, thus is more lethal.

He looks like Cartman's character in last week's WOW episode of South Park.

This cover looks much more fit for an RPG or such, but as Ubival likes making shiny things to distract your eyes, i guess this isn't surprising...

Close only counts for horseshoes and hand grenades.

It's not bad, but i don't find it appealing.

I agree that it looks very RPG-ish, but that wowish style is something that we find throughout h5, so it's not really that surprising.
Overall a fairly nice cover, though not stunning.

Got to profiles toward the bottom, there is a option to put a new avatar on. Show gallery has quite a few choices to choose from :)
