The Official Praise Thread
You weren't there when he had TIME and a Computer with internet access. Right now, the poor boy has been shoved back into the 19th century with very limited access. When Tar first hit the Round Table, that boy was digging old threads out of the bone yard to find places to post. LOL! It was really cute. And occationally annoying, but always sweet.theLuckyDragon wrote:Tar is the greatest spammer of all time? Hmm, it didn't seem like that.

What? Kalah is actually giving someone ELSE credit for closing a game? I think I'll faint.

It had a certain charm in trying to post quick enough to avoid editing. That, and that it was a sanctioned way to increase posts counts...
As for closing: Kalah might not have done it, but it was he who said it should be closed at 100 pages (though I think that was for the best, and would probably have suggested it myself if he hadn't).

Rage of Carrots is a discriminating game for all us East Coast USA folks that go to bed and check the boards in the morning to see that 3 pages have flown by and yet when I post I wait two hours for the next word!
But it works great on the Auction game for me

Hey, I was up at 3 a.m...
The RotC is more like a tradition than an actual fun game; it's lost its charms long ago, and allowing it to run forever would be a mistake. But then we couldn't open a new forum without strafing by it; it's somethign we just had to do...

Hurrah! At least this time I DID get to play some. Like Gravyluver, there were rarely other people on line when I checked. However, I must admit that the days I found someone here, I did take advantage of the situation.
Actually, for me, it really IS a fun game. It was pretty funny to try to think of where you wanted the sentence to go, then TRY to get the next person to say what you were thinking. They rarely EVER did, which made it funny. Or, at least that's what the appeal was for me. And I think it WOULD be a fun party game. I might bring it up at our next club meeting just for sh!ts and grins.
