What settings should I use?

Hi!

I just bought the game and installed the 1.3 patch. I was wondering which graphic settings I should use? I maxed everything and it seems to run fine, but I am not sure since I haven't played it before and can therefor not compare. And I also found it odd that default had the settings very low.

My system is:

Intel Core 2 Duo E6600, 2,40 Ghz. 2 GB Ram Dual Channel. Sapphire Radeon X1900XT 256 MB.

What I am asking for is the settings for everything at "Video Options" in the game.

Would be very thankful for any help!

try the ancient chinese tactic of "max-it-out-then-if-it-doesnt-crash-or-get-really-slow-then-leave-it-so-but-if-it-does-crash-or-get-really-slow-then-lower-stuff"

Yeh but I am not sure what that Anti Aliasing thing and the other one does. And even though it appears now that max settings are fine, there could be an even more optimal setting for it all for the game to work at its best with both speed and graphics.

if the camera doesnt stay in one position when moving for a short time, then theres no need to lower anything.

Your specs beats mine. Mine:

AMD Athlon 64 3500
1 GB RAM
BFG 6800GT AGP VC 256 MB

I have maxed out settings & never get a real slowdown. If there are a TON of trees (like one scanerio in the campaign) I noticed a tad of an issue. Max them out!
