Yeah but this was a random thought, so this is where it stays :). Anyhow, I listen to everything from classical to heavy metal. Just something about the rock in the late 70's early 80's that gets my blood pumping though ;). Give me rock or give me death :) *giggles*.

ditto Myst, I have in my cd case (which comes to work with me for easy listening on the train) the following (eclectic) collection:

some of this is a little embarassing (not really, but you know what i mean), but still not leaving anything out, in order of appearance:

Anastacia - Not That Kind
The Offspring - Conspiracy of One
No Doubt - Tragic Kingdom
Heifetz Bruch: Concerto Number1, Scottish Fantasy
Vieuxtemps: Concerto Number 5
Robbie Williams - Greatest Hits
Kelly Clarkson - Breakaway
South Park - Bigger, Longer, Uncut
The Black Eyed Peas - Elephunk
G'nR - Use Your Illusion II
Metallica - ....And Justice for All
Live - V
East 17 - Walthamstow ;|
The KLF - The White Room
Nickelback - The Long Road
Live - Throwing Copper
Bush - 6teen Stone
Evanesence - Fallen
Rage Against the Machine
Eminem - The Eminem Show
Linkin Park - Meteora
G'nR - Appetite for Destruction
Def Leppard - Hysteria
and in the CD player:
The Offspring - Americana

now that's a neat group

My random thought for today is that I'm immensely, extremely and absolutely bored out of my mind. :bored:

i hope you're not confined to bed post-surgery? just a little impeded, or is this nothing to do with the op, and is just plain old boredom?

It's been a week since my operation and I'm fine, I can walk normally. This is just plain old boredom. But it will go away next week, because that's when school starts.

that will probably do it, well at least you can walk around, believe me it sucks a lot worse when you are stuck in bed for about a week or two (i had my knee reconstructed about a year ago - that sucked!!)

"Although the game is completely turn-based, it's not boring"

Lol, indeed. It was my first thought before playing something like heroes, when it was Heroes II demo. :D

My random thought of the day:

If the tree falls in the woods, with no one around to hear it,does it make a sound? :|

it's not really about proof, because if a tree falls anywhere then there is noise, it is simply fact (unless we are talking about some extraplanar forest where the laws that govern this world don't hold)

It most probably moves some masses of air in its fall, but since there's no one there to have their eardrum moved by those masses of air... ;|

Its actually quantum physics:Is an event happening if no one is observing it?

Isn't that too broad a generalization? It depends on the event.
