ok, the lore has already been written down since like before the beta:Kilop wrote:....they could just make the dwarf workship a water dragon ( you now, ice is just cold water ) or air or i don t know but for me , and i am fully aware this is just a strictly personnal opinin ... fire is the right oposite of ice so ...
anyway, maybe a half fire half iced dragon , or just the plain smoking heart of the mountain , not to quote WoW again
Asha, supreme dragon goddes of order - sister of (whats-his-name) the dragon of chaos, created the 6 elemental dragon gods. the races of the land chose which dragons to worship and chose as follows:
The angels picked the dragon of light, and later joined up with the humans of the falcon empire.
The dwarves picked the dragon of fire.
the nagas (i think) picked the dragon of water.
the elves picked the dragon of earth.
the Faceless picked the dragon of darkness (later joined up with dark elves).
the humans of the Free Cities picked last and the only remaining god was the Air dragon.
not to be outdone, Asha's brother (supreme dragon god of chaos) created the Demons to do his bidding and destroy all other forms of life.
Academy chose no one. they had Sar Elam, the so called 7th dragon.
Necropolis split off from academy later and worshipped death itself, no dragon.
im pretty sure thats all of it, but all the dragons had names.

Necropolipse
Maybe mistaken, but didn't the Necro's choose to worship a corrupt version of the dragon of life? Not sure here, could be wrong.

There was a thread on this somewhere... here.soupnazii wrote: ok, the lore has already been written down since like before the beta:

A few corrections: the elves picked the Dragon of Earth, Sylanna, not the Dragon of Air (Sylath?); Necropolis did worship a dragon, Asha herself actually ("Necromancers worship the Primordial Dragon of Order in a twisted version of her destructive aspect" -- Necro Info on CH).
Oh, and the Primordial Dragon of Chaos is Urgash.

Those dwarves look really nice (if, as usual, a bit too much warhammerish).
I may resurrect my old hero Captain Bart Brimstone when the extension is released. When I started mapmaking for Heroes 2, I tried to make a map with an actual story. I created a character, a dwarf pirate called Bart Brimstone - using the portrait of Crag Hack - and started a series of map with him as the main protagonist. When Heroes 3 came I did a whole campaign about his exploits. He also had a few extra adventures in Heroes 4... And now there's a whole town of Bart and his mates ! Yo-ho !

Dont count on it.They can always throw in ashas long-lost-second-cousins-brother-in-laws-nephewMytical302 wrote:So it was the dragon of order not life. Ok, thought it was something like that. Anyhow, maybe we will get lucky and once they have 7 dragons they will be out of dragons to throw into the fray.

The expansion does sound hopeful. Want that map editor though (Have a entire quest line dying to try to make). Would have to leave my special towns out, but hey. Would be awesome if it came with a creature editor, skill editor, ect.
