PLEASE CLARIFY GAIDAL CAIN... WAS THAT A BID OR A JOKE?
Don't let them scare you. It's like in Poker. You have the big chip stack and they are on tilt. You control the bids in these lots. If you want something you can always win a bidding competition... and if you don't, you still have more money then they do for the next bid. There are still over 70 items to be sold in this auction, so you don't have to get caught paying too much for anything.
Even if you have your heart set on one object, don't throw away the amount of cash for it that would buy you three other objects.
Case point?
Lot #1 was rediculous... poor DL got caught up in the bid.
Dragon Scale Shield, Minor, Left Hand, DaemianLucifer, 25000
But look at some of the steals we've had so far...
2, Wizard's Ring, Treasure, Ring, a55a55in, 200
8, Lion's Shield of Courage, Major, Left Hand, Banedon, 3500
7, Magic Amplifier , Minor , Head, DaemianLucifer, 2020
1, Nomad Blackbow, Minor, Ranged, Echo_, 1580
8, Dwarven Shield, Treasure, Left Hand, I_Dun_Hat3_CT, 1500
1, Necklace of Charm, Minor, Neck, Sir William S Titan, 220
6, Pandora's Box, Relic, Miscellaneous, Sir William S Titan, 2244
(That was a real steal because when SMS Titan opened Pandora he found the grail!)
If you find you are consistantly getting outbid, maybe you need to rethink your values. Take what you think you would pay for an item and then bump that by 25%. Eventually you'll start filling your shopping bag without spending all your hard earned dough! But don't just start doubling and trippling evaluations to win the bids - that's how you run out of money.

Happy Bidding Everyone!

If I were a flower, I'd be a really big flame-throwing flower with five heads.

You know I'm just kidding right? I'm playing a game here. I hope tricks are all right
Still, I have one question: When the lots I've been participating in close, will I then be able to see how much money I have left?

This minor magical charm captures the viewer's attention and distra... ooo, pretty...

I update the cashflow when the lot closes so you kind of have to do the open items in your head. Alls sales are posted in the very first post of this thread (Page 1). Actually, it's a neat place to see what everyone's been spending their cash on so far - and how much they paid.
