Might I join by adding nothingness, or are you going to start a new round?

Since the last word was "nooks", you need to find something else if you wish to join. If noone has found a new word by 3:40 am, this round has ended and a new one will start.

Umm, I thought nothingness would be in the rules for nooks, wouldn't it?

@cornellian:
you have to use the last two letters (or three or more) of the last word without changing the order of them, and you have to add atleast one letter of you own in the end for the word to be valid. you get 3 extra points for using the whole word.

Well, one could always find a town name that starts with some of the letters and give the noun that names the inhabitant of that town, like I did in a previous round with "idsian".

Or maybe oksian* will work?

*in a similar manner to "stendhalian" or "proustian", adjectives describing the work of the respective authors, in this case I used the name Okse

no im not, as far as i know. how am i cheating?

edit: if you mean im cheating by looking in a dictionary, then you should know that thats fine by the rules. youre allowed to look in a dictionary or anything else that would help you win. it could be disallowed, but how would they enforce that?

Sorry, oksian isnt permited(its not in dictionary).

Final score:
Gaidal Cain - 50
Phobos - 40
DemonHunter - 25
Kalah - 20
Milla aka. the Slayer - 20
theLuckyDragon - 20
DaemianLucifer - 16
urbanmonk - 15
soupnazii - 15
Orfinn - 9
a55a55in - 5
Ethric - 5
Qurqirish Dragon - 5
Corribus - 3
stefan.urlus - 3
eekstah - 2
Sir William S Titan - 2

Corribus managed to decrease his score by 1 with his final word, and is the first person to end the game by making no new words available :applause: Because of this amazing feat,I am going to award him with the start of the next round.

Longest word(11) was Gaidal Cain's Umbrellawort :applause:

Corribus, you have the honor of starting

round ten

I didn't find stendhalian either, but since proustian (look at the American Heritage entry) and dickensian (also at the AH entry) exist, it must also exist (somehow...).

e.g. the proustian view of society = Proust's view of society

As for oksian, I admit it's a tad unlikely, but hey, I tried :D
