Fyrd wasn't in my dictionary either.
But try to do a Google-search on Fyrdmen - there are quite som legitimate hits on it.

Sorry,but fyrdmen is not allowed as well.Its not in wiktionary,nor oxford dictionary,though fyrd is.

Well obviously fyrdmen are men of the fyrd, so ask yourself this: would you accept postmen if post was mentioned before in the round? Dictionary or no dictionary.

A modern equivalent to "fyrd" is "military". Militarymen is not a word, you have to split it into two. Not all nouns have suffixes.

I wouldn't know a suffix from a noun if a vowel bit me in the prefix, I just think this is a messy game with poor documentation and lackluster management going nowhere at the speed of a decomposing gerbil named Harold

OK, I know it's not my turn yet but it seems that you're all stuck. What about r-dropping: the omission of the sound (r) for orthographic r after a vowel in the same syllable.
