Campaign: Do stat modifiers stay with you as you progress?

Campaign: Do stat modifiers stay with you as you progress?

Ive been trying to figure out if whenever I get +1 attack in a map, it stays with me till i finish the campaign missions. Sometimes i notice that they stay but other times they just reset. I was with Isabel and her attack/defense was 8/6, next map the defense stayed upgraded yet the attack went down to 6 i believe. Thx 4 help

Sounds like it was an artifact, that gave you the boost to attack skill.
Artifacts in general doesn't carry over. The Stat booster buildings (mercenary camp, marletto tower etc.) does have permanent effect throughout the campaign though.

Permanent stat upgrade markers have lasted throughout campaign missions for the primary hero for every incarnation of Heroes in the past. I can only assume that the same is true for this one.

it is true thecheese .... the stat modifiers that are gained from artifacts are lost (not a single artifact can be carried over in the campaigns - in the campaign 6) but the stat modifiers that are gained from booster buildings do stay throughout the campaigns

Sweet thanks alot for the help. Now i know that i should go after all these when i encounter them on the maps :P, should help in the long run!

I tend to recall that in H III (expansion maybe)in the last mission when all the heroes took part in defeating the enemy they simply lost the stat bonuses they had gathered over they own campains. :libra:

Yes, but that was a bug. The original Heroes weren't carried over like they were supposed to be. The Heroes were recreated in the last mission without carrying over their stats, skills, spells, exp, etc. BUMMER! I remember how disappointed I was. :S

That was so friggin' annoying!! I made these great heroes with great spells, but when I got to the Yog\Crag map, Yog had expert earth but no wisdom, and Crag had expert wisdom (yeah right!) but no magic specialties. Grrr! :grumpy:
