It is very possible that you don't have enough mana to cast the spell from the arrow.

Yes, it takes mana to have the extra effect. Check that out first.

No,just one of those two should be enough. But you have to have the creature in your favourite enemy list in order to strike it with the rain.

Deadeye shot applies imbue to every shot you take, rain applies imbue only when you use it, and only on monsters in your list 'o hatred :)

How the hell did you end up not getting those skills by level 29?

Bad luck, or picking other choices I guess.

So Imbue Arrow only works on the creatures on your creature list and when you use Deadeye shot or The other?

Imbue Arrow works on all creatures, but only when you use Deadeye Shot or Rain of Arrows.

Deadeye Shot replaces your normal attack, so you can use Imbue every time.

Rain of Arrows needs to be cast from the Spellbook, and only attacks the creatures in your Favorite Enemy list.

I can beat that.

Raelag in my campaign didn't get empowered spells until level 31.

He could go with Warlock's luck instead. If he has +5 luck, it's better on average.

...most valuable skill... mmmh...
Dark Ritual is needed for twilight, death march and secrets of destruction;
Elemental Vision for wizard's reward and both (DR and EV) for rage of the elements...
Empowered spells only if your going for Mana Burst and Counterspell...

How do you evaluate the Most Valuable?

I didn't figure out for a while that luck rolls only get applied to regular spells, not empowered spells. Of course I only got warlock's luck for the first time yesterday. Do you really use dark ritual? Using up a whole day hurts...though there is a hero who gets extra spell points from it...

Nop, I've never used Dark Ritual, but it allows you Twillight (+spellpower) and Secrets of Destruction (+knowledge) and those are essentials to a warlock (I mean increased spellpower and knowledge)
