Cant Play, Programm shutdown

Well, i've installed heroes 4 and it works, BUT when i install equilibris it crashes after i press scenario, both heroes 4 AND equilibris do this.

Could anyone help?

(I did download all the components and added them)

Did you read installation instructions in FAQ?

Did you apply any patches before installing Equilibris?
Did you save your heroes4.exe? If you did, does the game work fine if you launch it from the game main folder?

If you followed instructions and still got the wrong result, try to reinstall it all over again and fix the moment when game starts to crash.

P.S. Normally Equilibris should not affect original installation...

Tried it like 8 times:P

I tried WoG, and it wont load, just wont even start, and heroes 3 now gives me this error:

Here will be good to ensure yourself that you haven't something corrupted on your PC.

Are other applications doing also errors?
Did you check it using scandisk? (My Computer --> Disk Drive --> Properties --> System Tools --> Check drive)
Any viruses?

And so on. These errors just aren't nomal. But first, reinstall, reinstall, reinstall. Because according to the WoG error, installation went wrong.

Look here:

All passed? because it can install if something is wrong and that can be the problem. like my friend play without music, he need play a music for the game pley the music, really stupid. =P *play a music on the computer.

Don't rely on this message

Did you tried clean install? First install Homm3/4, then copy it into another folder followed with another installation of the mods or repeat that again, always on the copy.

When you can install the base Homm3/4 here should be no problem with adding the mods.

If you get a lot of 'criticall errors' on your computer with other games/programs try running memtest 3.6 to see if your RAM is not damaged... (i hand similar problem few months ago and it was damaged ram)

Actually, I wanted to drive your attention to the fact that your error message is almost impossible to read. One can understand that there is an error, but that's it.

Heroes patches?, No, Compont updates for the mod?, Yes.

If you can, I strongly advise you to patch your Heroes to highest version possible (3.0). If you can't, be sure to download that 12Mb resource file, updates.h4r and follow steps in FAQ very closely.

You install Heroes-4 original and it works fine, right?
Then you follow steps in FAQ and neither Original nor Equilibris works, right?

Try uninstalling Equilibris and check if Original works. Try to remove files you created yourself one by one to locate the source of a problem.

Or try to follow the steps in FAQ from the very beginning and constantly check if the game works to find the source of your problem.

P.S. I'll ask our programmer to watch this thread, but he'll need some solid information to start with.

They're all the same, Dutch, Russian, English. There's no useful info in that message.

Well, i tried updating it but even with the first patch it gives an update error

Well the UK version doesnt work either it says:
Update aborted when I open the update file and it is in english so:S

And in which version the game report that it is?

(just right click to properties job)

Then from the ch page with patches you can determine in which language version it is, exactly.

3.0 is latest version, 3.0c means That is complete, these cannot be patched anymore.

1.0, weirdness now they both say: Update aborted:S!
( i deleded some custom maps etc. i read something about it quiting the update), but now they both say that.

Btw: i checked and its an UK version

Try to do it again on the pure copy of original installation. * And language? * And do you have Standart or WoW or GS? - Select accordingly
